Mark Farndon is an excellent surgeon, and performed an operation on my daughters foot to remove a piece of bone that was causing a lump and a great deal of discomfort. We had previously seen two other consultants who both misdiagnosed or were not prepared to do the operation. Mark was brilliant, factual and did a brilliant job. Highly recommend him.

I saw Mr Farndon this Summer for a procedure on my foot. Having previously had an operation on the same area many years ago with a different consultant (also private), I can say that the whole process from start to finish was much easier and more pleasant than previous. Mr Farndon was professional, friendly and had impeccable time keeping. He took the time to explain the issue, the procedure and answered all my questions in the consultation.

Attended Mr Farndon at Nuffield Health on a BUPA referral as my knees are now beginning to cause a little discomfort when walking and climbing stairs. Appointment was easy to arrange through his PA and I was seen very promptly. (Even early). Mr Farndon made a quick appraisal manually and then an X- Ray was carried out immediately. On returning Mr Farndon showed me the results of the X-Ray and explained his diagnosis and the forward in a meticulous and courteous manner. Mr Farndon comes across as a very knowledgeable and caring individual and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone suffering with knee,leg or ankle issues

I saw Mr Farndon to discuss an issue with my foot. It was a pleasant discussion. He had taken the time prior to the consultation read all my notes and view the images from my previous consultant and was fully prepared for my appointment.He knew exactly what my issue was and why, he listened to my concerns and explained clearly the reasons why.very easy to talk to and would definitely recommend.

I asked Mr. Farndon to look at my Knee which was giving me tremendous pain when walking to the point 200-300 yards was difficult, following physical examiniation & x-rays etc, he recommended a partial knee replacement on the medial side of my right knee caused mainly by wear & tear following an old sports injury.I accepted his advice and duly had the surgery 6 weeks ago and now I can already walk normally, drive, return to work and look forward once again to playing Golf, walking my dog etc. The whole experience has been everything he said it would be and I really can't speak highly enough of the process and care from A-Z, it was very professional, made me feel confident of a good outcome and at 66yo It's opened up so many activities I had begun to think were over for me.I highly recommend Mr. Farndon for the treatment I received and the post-op care from his team at the Duchy Hospital Harrogate.
