The Cart Shed

We had such a lovely long weekend at the cart shed. The property had heaps of character, was spotlessly clean and had a real charm to it. Our hosts were amazing and the village and access were perfect. We would definetely recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Stayed here with my partner, it’s an absolutely beautiful cottage! So cosy & clean, very close to the owners own home but didn’t feel like we were intruding so it was fine.

Super lovely cottage with quick communication with the Hosts.It was super clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped.Would recommend for two people for a getaway

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Cart Shed and was fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks there. It had a very cosy and welcoming feel to it and the owners were always very accommodating to any needs that I had. Looking forward to staying there again in the future!

A lovely little home away from home in such a great location for exploring! Fiona was such a great host and the little touches of fresh eggs and milk made this stay even more special!

Fantastic stay , the place has everything you would need and was very tidy and clean . Also a great location with amazing walks and views in the local area, also a very nice pub with a good discount included with the stay down the road !

The accommodation was really cosy & welcoming. After a long day out it was a lovely place to relax. The facilities were great & if anything was missing the landlady was happy to provide it. The place has its own character too, with hidden mice :-) & musical instruments & farm implants hung around wood beams. Being there in winter was heavenly because the hearing & got water meant that I was always toasty warm once I got in from my long days out in the freezing weather. The landlady & family were really welcoming & friendly & just lovely people which of course added to my experience there. The place is in beautiful surroundings too with a nature reserve only 5mins away. I really loved my stay there & thank Fiona for such a great stay.
