Absolute were an absolute joy to deal with from start to finish when I hired floor sanders.Friendly and professional on the phone, and extremely helpful in explaining how to use the sanding machines when they arrived here.Then, after sanding, when I had emergency deadline to complete varnishing my floor, they put me in touch with a local varnish supplier.PS My previous sander hiring experiences have been with H*S equipment. Absolute's machines are miles better and much easier to work with. I had NO broken belts - a first for me!Regarding varnish, please avoid R*nseal varnish and pay the extra for a top product such as Osmo, as recommended by Absolute.In my photo, on the left is R*nseal varnish, and on the right is Osmo.The Osmo finish is even-coloured, and almost exactly the same colour my original floor colour. Beautiful.The R*nseal finish in contract is patchy/blotchy, and the colour is frankly horrible - despite the sample colour shown on their tin being almost the same as the colour on the right of my photo - a clear example of NOT doing exactly what it says on the tin (in contrast with the loud and proud claim in their ads.)

I have engineered oak flooring which was laid in 2007. It was beginning to look tired, scratched and stained. I called for a quote and sent over the room dimensions and a photo of the floor. They quickly replied with a very reasonable quote and we booked a date. Dave arrived on time and explained the process and got started. There was no mess and the process was completely dustless. I initially wanted to go with a grey stain but after listening to the advice from Dave decided to go with an invisible lacquer. The floor looks amazing and better than when it was first laid. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic company and very polite and professional individuals. Our original builders messed up our old wooden floors so we were looking for a specialist to help undo the damage by fixing loose floorboards and re-sanding and staining. We came across Absolute Floor Sanding and are delighted with the job they've done. Outstanding work.
