The Hampton by Hilton in Manchester was a lovely hotel, we stayed here for two nights to perform in the AO Arena and this was a great location. We came in and checked into our rooms, it was very big and I loved how high quality the rooms were. My partner and I had separate bedrooms and they were very individual with comfortable beds and the showers here were great. We were downstairs and I liked that the bar had good drinks but it can be on the expensive side.Breakfast here was great though, loved the waffle maker and it was very fresh tasting and I liked that there was a good range of food to suit everyone. We would come back here again if we were ever in the area. Thanks for having us!

We had a nice clean room at the rear of the hotel, so less less traffic and less sieren noise.Very very poor for parking as the tiny basement is never available. You have to park on rubble carparks a walk away (which are not great for security and have poor lighting).Tea/ coffee kettle , hair dryer, iron, safe in room.Breakfast was good, cooked food was mushrooms, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, vegan sausages, potato croquettes all very nice. Some cereals, toast, croissants, fruit, yogurts, ham, chease, melon.Main drawback with breakfast is that all the food and drinks machines are squashed into a tiny square, there are always massive queues for breakfast especially in the last hour of service. Would have thought the hotel would have made breakfast till 11am on a Saturday and Sunday as this certainly would help. Also would recommend hotel move the drinks out of the corner and move away from food area so to avoid the excessive queues. The hotel has moved the 2 waffle machines to avoid the queues, these are in front of the lifts but hidden by the partition, so lots of people missed them. The hotel needs to have sign by the main food area advertising this, as the small sign by the lifts is missed by the majority of customers. When you find the waffle machines you can make some lovely waffles.

Checked into hotel polite reception staff. I was disappointed that car parking at the hotel was full.I have chronic disabilities and struggled to park my car elsewhere & to bring luggage to the hotel from carpark elsewhere.I was hoping there would be a small fridge with water in or some choice of cold drink in the bedroom. Also, I expected a menu to order some food to the room.Breakfast was OK, simple, bulk cooking. Overcooked scrambled eggs & no other choice of eggs. The continental breakfast offer was very basic.A couple of waiting on staff were by the looks of it, very upset about being on duty.I felt I had stayed at better travel lodges in the past.I have been high management of hospitality B&I & previously a head chef & consultant & and general manager for years for contract catering companies such as Compass group, Costa, Aramark, Iss etc.I was not very impressed when a waitress asked me if I knew what I had pressed for a black Americano coffee, then began telling me if you don't know what your doing" just ask!The hotel & bedroom was very clean & tidy. Reception staff were helpfulWe booked the hotel as it was well placed to go to concert Arena. I would not book again

I had a delightful stay in a lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The hotel is conveniently situated just a few minutes walk away from the well-known Manchester Arndale shopping mall. The breakfast was fantastic, with a range of English breakfast options available to choose from. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist."

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel, but the highlight is the team. Wonderful and helpful people. Such a pleasure staying in a hotel where everyone is so happy to help cater to every need.Breakfast has many options for vegans. The porridge (oatmeal) is made upon request, and you can ask to make it with Soya (soy) milk instead of calf's food. They also have vegan sausage, which is available upon request. Other than these, they have a wide array of vegan items as part of the regular offering.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. Good location, the rooms were clean, the staff at the reception is extremely friendly and helpful, the price of the stay is reasonable. Breakfast is based on a buffet and was extremely diverse. The only complaint is that there are no windows in the rooms that could be opened and the ventilation did not work, so it was very uncomfortable to stay in it. We went to the reception to complain, so they moved us to another room where everything was fine. Also, I found it very strange that there was no toilet brush in the toilet, so we had to wait two days for the cleaners to come to clean it. It's the first time I've encountered something like that and I think it's not right for the cleaners to do such a job, and there were also no bags for the trash bins, so the trash goes directly into the bin(my reccomendation is biodegradable bags to put in use). Everything else was good, so I recommend this hotel.

I travel the world for work and stay in all Hilton Brands and this hotel has to be the best I have stayed in.From check in to check out, everything was perfect and the staff couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was a comfortable one.Special shout out to the following team members.Faith and Callum who not only welcomed us with a massive smile but also checked us in half an hour early as we had a theatre show to see at 2.30. They saved the day and allowed us to get a quick shower and change after our journey from London. Also to Neil and Roxanna, after a really long day exploring Manchester, welcomed us back to the hotel and chatted to us over a drink and pizza. This goes beyond service for me. They clearly enjoy their job and working in the hospitality industry. I only wish all staff at all Hiltons are like them. The rooms themselves are VERY clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet, perfect for a weekend away.I will be back!

Good location for city centre and arena. Rooms were lovely and clean and breakfast was really nice, could even make your own fresh waffles. All staff were friendly and helpful.
