Wood Works Brighton

Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful and totally unique. Adam worked incredibly well with the other contractors; and was very patient when there were some tweaks needed (sometimes happens when working with natural products). The space is now stunning, light-filled and every surface is so tactile whereas before it was sad and dark. Thank you.

Brighton woodworks were superb from start to finish. We worked with them to create bespoke storage solutions in our hallway and bedroom and the results are both stunning and practical. Francois designed everything with meticulous attention to detail and no request was too much. Adam the carpenter was first rate and Eren is simply the best painter we have ever met.

Despite several U-turns on what we wanted, Francois remained ever-patient, steering us gently through the numerous decisions we needed to make to get to our final kitchen. He suggested materials we would probably never have found out about otherwise and we're very, very happy with the result. Rhys was a delight to have in the house during the fit, calming working away and delivering something so much more beautifully crafted than we had ever expected.Yes, this cost more than a high street kitchen but the craftsmanship is a world apart. Wood is FSC certified and Francois was able to guide us to other sustainable materials such as compressed paper for our cabinet doors.The team were very responsive, professional throughout and delivered on time. Highly recommended.

Wood Works Brighton recently completed our kitchen following a refurbishment of our house... luckily for us Francois, Adam and the rest of the team did an AMAZING job which was very nice having spent the past couple of years dealing with not so great trades people.We initially didn't know what we wanted but we knew we wanted it to be different and colourful and that is certainly what was delivered, my wife and I couldn't be happier with the end result, their craftsmanship is wonderful!There are very few people/teams that would have put the time in to achieve the quality, design and finish of our kitchen that Francois, Adam, Olda and everyone else put in :)We did have one small hiccup with our table, this was due to a small communication issue from both sides.A resolution was found quickly through a change in design and utilising parts of the old table.I think both myself and Francois would agree that the new final table looks so much better than the initial table... clearly the mis-communication happened for a reason :)Would I work with Francois and Wood Works Brighton again? YESAm I upset that Francois removed Akabeko from the photoshoot of our kitchen? Yes.Thank you for a kitchen that makes my wife and I smile :)

Brighton Woodworks built us some amazing cupboards, shelves, fitted wardrobes and an office space in various rooms. I would highly recommend them. We had to wait a while from quotation to installation but we're really glad we waited. It was well worth it and once installation started it was very quick.

I commissioned Wood Works around a year ago for a bespoke bedroom design. The project took a little longer than anticipated due to covid and also as they were extremely busy. I approached two other companies, who were able to start much sooner, however I felt that Francois and his team had a much better approach, vision and understanding as to what I wanted to achieve. The end result was simply outstanding. Outstanding carpentry and excellent quality. The sub contractors used used for electrical and painting was also second to none. I would highly recommend wood works as a professional and reliable company. Better for something to take a little longer which delivers outstanding results than for a job to be rushed. 10/10.

Francois and his team are a special team of incredibly skilled and creative artisans. Working closely with our architects/designers they delivered a unique, stunning kitchen completely on brief. It was a complicated and large project but Francois and his team took time to understand our and our architect/designers’ vision and worked tirelessly to make that vision a breathtaking reality. We would highly recommend Francois and his team.

Wood Works Brighton created some bespoke living room shelving, under-stairs cupboards and wardrobes for us. Every detail was thought of - the team clearly care very much about about what they do and it shows. Brilliant craftsmanship and a pleasure to work with!

I am over the moon with our kitchen. Its absolutley stunning and more than I could have hoped for. I had a clear vision of what I wanted and Francois and Adam made it come to life. It wasn't the easiest kitchen to build but they rose to the task and I am very happy with quality and finish of Kitchen.

We are so delighted with our fitted wardrobes designed and fitted by Wood works Brighton. From the initial consultation with Francois, to the incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail given by Seb, through to the stunning hand painted finish by Erin, we have enjoyed working with the whole team and the results are just stunning!
