If you want an individual, high quality stained glass item these are the people to go to. Chris and Justine are highly professional and talented. Each piece is beautifully produced by hand. Their small items are extremely delightful, and they undertake restoration work and produce bespoke commissions. They hold workshops in their studio for which there is often a waiting list with many returning customers.I can't praise them highly enough!

Had a most excellent time learning the ways of strained glass creation. Made my own piece, which I named a sunrise on a spring day, the dazzlingly beautiful glass that I could choose from brought out truly special glass imagery, which I will hang up soon. All thanks to the superb instruction of Justine and Chris, who supplied endless help, as well as mugs of tea and biscuits to keep the synapses fueled.

I have attended 3 workshops with Chris and Justine and loved every minute of each of them. They are fantastic teachers and so generous with their skills and knowledge. Can't wait to do another one. I have also purchased several items as gifts for family, who loved them and appreciate the work that has gone into making a unique piece of art.

I commissioned two Hearts with a locket of hair in each of them. Chris and Justine went our of their way to produce these for me. They were posted to be beautifully packed to prevent damage. After 8 years they are still treasured by my daughters and will be for many years to come.I cannot recommend them highly enough.Maybe there should be a Spinal Tap" style sixth star "When you just need that little bit extra " :-)"

Today was my 3rd course at Cariad Glass and it was just as fantastic as the first two. A wonderful, addictive, rewarding and enjoyable crafting day. Friendly, helpful and encouraging instruction from Justine today made it the perfect treat and to top it all another fabulous mosaic plaque to bring home.

Justine and Chris run Cariad Glass and they are absolutely delightful. Have now done 2 stained glass workshops there - a basic day and a 2 day masterclass. Both were fantastic taking us from basic techniques through to more advanced work. Would thoroughly recommend the workshops, as well as their highly original stained glass artwork/renovations. They also have a lovely little gift shop with original art from local artists.

My husband and I have attended a number of Justine and Chris' workshops and find them to be amazingly warm, talented and experienced teachers. Their studio is filled with high quality pieces showing their skills and craftsmanship and having made our own panels, we now know how much time, care and skill goes into producing stained glass! I’ve got various bits of glass in my house hand made by Chris and Justine; each one makes me smile and brightens up my world. I love the fact that each piece is uniquely made in their small, hard to find workshop in Wales, and that buying their beautiful glassware keeps this important tradition alive. I didn’t want mass produced objects sold for less than £25 in Dunelm; I wanted hand crafted Welsh magic, and that’s what I have.
