Just took my wife on the back of our motorbike to this little pub tucked away behind Princes Risborough, we hadn't booked a table but the staff were very polite and friendly and we were soon enjoying a lovely roast dinner each.I had the lamb wifey had the beef,all homemade,very hot and tasty and the service was excellent.recommend booking to avoid being disappointed.thankyouVanessa and jason

Really lovely country pub, really nice setting, a great beer garden, with chickens, well laid out tables, and plenty of space. Food was excellent, the wine also excellent, a good couple of real ales, lagers and the like. Very impressed, we will be back.

Recommended by a friend, very nicely surprised. Great spot for lunch with friends, or dinner with that special someone. Very good selection of wines, lovely traditional and very well made food. Will be back.

Last minute visit as another pub had let us down even though we’d booked . The lovely lady found us a cosy table . Service was excellent and the quality of our dishes were superb . Highly recommended, and very thankful for a friendly welcoming service

A really nice little pub/restaurant that has a lovely ambience and a warm interior. The staff were very accommodating of myself and a number of other guests including 2 young children and a baby.The staff were very swift and efficient with their service and were more than happy to cater to any tailored requests from our party.The food was delicious, starting with a chicken satay which was divine with a beautifully made sauce following this, I chose a slow-cooked pork belly with a potato-gratin and creamed leeks which was equally as delicious; finally I finished my meal with a creme brûlée which was a generous portion and very tasty!Overall fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend!

The food was delicious but the manager hovering over us, taking our plates away before my friend has finished her meal was far from welcome.We were the last to leave at just after 9pm, not really ready to end our evening but felt we had overstayed our welcome! Very unfriendly!!

We stopped off for lunch here and had a great time. Friendly staff and we found the food tasty. Our toddler enjoyed frequent food breaks in the garden (!) and loved the chickens and little play area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pub above 15 mins drive from High Wycombe, surrounded by beautiful countryside

A great local pub. Very friendly staff and decent food. Lovely garden in the summer and cosy fires in the winter.
