Tried to get my sons haircut lied to my face saying appointments only... when someone walked in as I was leaving asked if there was space and he said yeah.

Got my pubes shaved this was a great place not akward at all

The old crew have retired and the new crew are just as brilliant. My favourite place for a haircut.

The original and best barbershop in town

Aggressive behaviour from barber, Alan. I’m a regular and visited the shop today for a cut. Earlier my son had been refused service and been told it was because he’s under 12yo. When I questioned this, I was immediately confronted in an aggressive manner and told “it’s the rule”. Clear attempt to intimidate and escalate. The justification given was that the sight of a boy would put off regular customers and “stop them coming in”. I asked is this still the same at 9am on Saturday morning when the shop and the streets are near empty. I was told again “it’s the rule” in the same manner. A wholly unwarranted and unacceptable way to be treated.Bizarrely, he acted as though I might still want a haircut from him. I’ll never be back.Before leaving I suggested he checked the law on refusing service based on age as it might stop him making a fool of himself in the future.

A real barber shop without shaving or shampooing. Want to speak men's talk like football and the Rovers, here is the place to go. No fancy prices either.. Wednesday for pensioners prices too.

Traditional no nonsense barbers with good hygiene against covid. While most hairdressers have raised prices after lockdown - this shop has not.
