Excellent Service from our Waiter Tom. The food was great too. Nothing was too much effort and we were made to feel welcome. The ambiance was lovely too!

A nice suburban Southampton pub. Clean, spacious, and would suit anyone from someone popping in for a pint or a family meal. Nice decor. Friendly staff who know how to serve beer and chat. Parking and easy access. Like it!

Visiting from Australia and wanted the authentic pub experience. My wife and 2 adult sons enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A bit noisy as there was a soccer, sorry, football game on the Tv in front of our table and the place was packed out. I think we may have been lucky to get in, That said, it was what we were looking for. Thank you all for making it a memorable night.

When i entered it was a great atmosphere, it's very cosy and there's a good layout. The staff were kind, and helpful and the meal didn't take long to be cooked. The food was very nice, and although the meals are rather pricey, you get rather a lot for your money. Definitely a good place to go if you happen to find yourself here!

Absolutely superb, first time visit for us.We shall certainly return again based on todays experience. From entering the restaurant everything was superb from the attentive, professional and polite service received from our Waitress Bree, to the Roast, the Dessert, drinks and the Coffee. Everything was very pleasing as well as excellent value for money.Special thanks to Bree for making our visit so pleasant. 5*

The only disadvantage here is its proximity to the road which makes it a bit noisy, but I knew this when I arrived. All the rest is very positive. I was surprised that I had to order myself at the bar, but that's not a problem as everything was brought at the table. The service was very good as they all gave the impression to be concerned by their job! Another VERY important thing is the food, of course ☺. I didn't taste them but the French/Belgian fries where the best looking I have seen during my whole 3weeks stay on GB: good size, good colour... The 'confit de canard' I had was a real masterpiece of cooking. I would come back to Southampton for this sole reason.

Well cooked food and warm welcome by the staff. Small car park to the side of the pub. Sunday lunch available but best book in advance. Our squid starter with garlic mayo was fantastic. If not time pressed we would have had seconds.

First time visiting this morning for Breakfast with Santa and was really pleased. Such a spacious and clean pub. Service and food was on point. Santa Claus" was absolutely amazing with all the kidd also. Will definitely be returning!"
