The Don Valley Hotel

Stay here last night. Rooms were lovely, staff very helpful. Had a few pints after seeing Peter kay & got chatting to some really nice folks

If you are looking for nice and quiet place. This place is not an option. you can hear loud music and screaming people until 4.00 am

the staff at this hotel are lovely !!! the service is amazing and the food is really good !! i come here a lot with my partner after being put here by the council. everyone is really lovely here and i would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting an affordable hotel with good quality service and rooms !!!

My train to London was cancelled that night and I was so happy to find available bedroom one hour before arriving at the hotel, that was a good luck! :) the bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed my staying in, not to forget the English breakfast I had the next day, I always ask for the eggs to be well-done and they don't always come exactly the way I like them to be, but at Don Valley hotel I had my breakfast exactly how I always like to have! Thank you so much for your great service and hospitality! I'll definitely come here if I visit Sheffield again!

I dont have a single bad thing to say about the place nor the staff.We got in right before midnight and they welcomed us as if we were their lost sons making their way home.

Even though parking was advertised, there was none. I found a space on a dark street, didn’t feel at all safe, fortunately our wasn't stolen overnight.Website is very misleading! It claims to be a 5 star hotel. It wasn't a hotel at all, more accurately described as a B or C level sports bar with sleeping rooms.The beds were comfortable. There weren't amenities expected of a hotel:- cups in the bathroom for brushing teeth- soap and shampoo- no kettle/cups for coffee or tea- no coffee or tea- no lamp on the bedside lampstand- WiFi didn't couldn't get IP address"- mold in the bathroom- no accessibility for disabled persons- I could go onI'm wondering what criteria were used for this 5 star rating?On arrival the front door was locked. Pressing the buzzer did no good. Eventually I knocked on the glass of the door

Just like to thank the lady's who work at Don Valley Cafe for allowing me to wait there until my car was fix by Heidi's Garage so thank lady's for your lovely company and the cup of coffee and Breakfast was to die for

All the staff were welcoming. Couldn't recommend more. There was a great dog we saw in the morning too.
