Came for the cash point (which was not working at the time ) stayed for the bakery and hot food counter .The bakery was looking a little sparse along with the hot food counter although the last 4 sausage rolls were nice , the lad on the counter looked to be doing a good job at spinning plates as he was run ragged by ovens beeping till rolls failing and trying to serve all at the same time ! I was glad there was some products left on the other counters ,the cold sandwich fridges were very sparse and what was left definitely did not look appetising !Although we had seven items the lady on the customer service counter was nice enough to ring us up and was helpful in providing directions to another hopefully working cash point .Take care in the car park as the lanes in between the parking bays are quite narrow and to allow parking requires you to swing out ,this as what happened to me and a few others in a short space of time caused a bit of an altercation with other shoppers who would not wait coming the opposite way !All in all a usefully situated store that just needs to keep their stock updated even on a Sunday early afternoon .

Very poor....lots of staff on the sales floor, but next to no tills manned. When I realised the length of the queues to pay, I just dumped the trolley and walked out. Life is too short! Why this branch of Sainsbury's couldn't have asked staff on the sales floor to come and man a till at busy times is a mystery, unless they want to force customers to use self checkouts?

The store is fairly large, with plenty of car parking. The location is also ideal; based at the marina and very close to the city centre. Due to the large selection of products available, you are always sure to find what you need. There is also an Argos situated at the back, left hand side of the store. It is very rare that I see a till open; you are more or less expected to use the self-scan tills.

First and foremost I would strongly say that management is appalling, I’ve been shopping at Sainsbury for decades and find it very distressing the incompetence and the upkeep of this business is in shambles. Building is stiffly cold the condition is critical how are the staff suppose to work in a environment like that, it is an icebox I am old and suffer with arthritis and find it difficult to shop, it’s been like this for years very off putting when I do my daily shopping, they need better managers that know how to function the place, I feel sorry for the staff they are rushed off there feet overworked and unappreciated, I’ve witness management disregarding there staff to struggle on the desk moving from one place to another to juggle 2 jobs, management nowhere to be seen!!! absolutely ridiculous you should be appalled, and frankly it’s like this everywhere on the self scan smart shop and tills, young short lad manager of the tills diabolical doesn’t seem to care, standing there without the foggiest idea, leadership is questionable don’t seem capable to fulfil the role, management is careless I am flabbergasted and no excuses for the neglect towards there staff no remorse, I have great sympathy for the staff they work hard and have little recognition, very unhealthy and difficult to watch them freeze in the middle of winter, they are walking around in hats gloves and coats and I would like for the complaint to be resolved immediately else I would be contacting trading standards, without doubt despicable overall I shall not be returning until these issues are resolved, use to be a nice place to shop unfortunately it has gone downhill they need to sort the heating out, my experience with Sainsbury Castle Boulevard is off putting I am taking my service elsewhere perhaps you should focus on treating your colleagues better!!! Goodness gracious

A great Sainsbury's! Very large and nice wide aisles with a Sushi Bar, Lindt pick and mix and a wide range of World Foods.

Staff aren't very approachable, and make you feel like you accidentally killed their dog.Big car park with plenty of space.Nicely laid out with stocked shelves.Don't forget your £1 for the trolley :)

This is a very large Sainsbury's store with a massive car park. There's loads of disabled and parent parking.Plenty of localised trolley returns.Inside the store the toilets are very well kept. There are all the usual products you'd expect in very organised week stoked aisles, with the addition of fresh baked goods, a hot counter, pizza and a cafe. The price can be cooked on site for you to take away in a take away box

Great selection of produce, not enough workers on the checkout was balancing my groceries. 9n the self checkout had a query about some carrots nobody about to ask, so I ended up sorting it out myself and paying more. Selection of women's clothes is usually excellent herr. Was OK this time. More basic good quality staples, i.e., black jumpers and cardigans needed.

Loads of staff on the sales floor doing Jack! And queues for the tills stretching around the shop... Possibly the worst run Sainsbury's I have ever had the misfortune to enter. Just dumped my trolley full of shopping and left. I'll help them with the queues...I won't be back! Have they not the wit to open the many tills that aren't manned. The Qatari owners must think what a bunch of lemons running this store"!"

I walked in and thought I walked into a Walmart (I'm from Canada and didn't expect to find a store this huge in the UK). Everything looked very clean and the shelves were well organized. I only walked in to buy one item and walked out with much more than that. I also did some price scouting for my next grocery trip. Seems to be a decently priced option.
