Veezu (the new name for City Taxis Derby)

Journey Sheffield Hillsborough to railway station.I placed an order for a taxi at 8am. It came on time ( taxi 628) and the driver couldn't have been more helpful with suitcases. He was friendly and a lovely chap. We arrived in plenty of time for our train to EdinburghAbsolutely 1st class. Many thanks, Linda Mason

Very friendly driver, arrived ahead of time which was great as I’m catching trains en route to a flight..great service.

The payment system is so confusing. First time I use Veezu on the way to my appointment the payment doesn’t go through so I had to get cash out. The second time on the way home the driver said it had gone through and on the app it said it hadn’t. The amount pending in my banking app is different to what the final amount in the Veezu app was. The City Taxis app was much more straightforward! And it has really put me off using Veezu

App hung up even after restarting phone leaving me waiting for a taxi from hospital in pain and freezing cold. Had to rebook using old app that will stop working soon. Hope app problems are sorted before old one stops as don't want to be stuck in this situation again

It was me and my 10 year olds first time in Sheffield ordering a taxi. Very quick and easy to book. Very pleasant driver

The taxi arrived within 5 minutes of booking, the driver was friendly and polite, he was also aware of local roadworks and avoided delays getting me to my appointment with 10 minutes to spare. The car was clean and comfortable. Excellent service.

AVOID IF YOU ARE A WHEELCHAIR USER ON A NIGHT OUT!I've used this firm a couple of times before, the first time the app cancelled my taxi but they still managed to provide me with a wheelchair accessible taxi. the second time I didn't have an issue. Tonight, Well tonight was hell, I booked my taxi over 48 hours ago through the app, I'm a wheelchair user and can't transfer so need an accessible cab. I booked in advance because I know that getting an accessible taxi at 10.30pm can be an issue. I felt safe knowing I had booked this far in advance. I organise a social night for disabled people in the city so I was hoping this would be a regular booking, at 10.15 pm this evening, I got a call to say my taxi that I'd booked well in advance was cancelled because there were no accessible vehicles available...15 minuets before my booking was due! the woman on the phone was rude and unsympathetic, I called the firm back and again it was the same woman and this time she shouted at me. I won't be using this service again I'd advise all wheelchair users who need an accessible cab to avoid and I will be taking this up with Derby City Council.

Really unprofessional.I booked a car last night for a ride planned for this morning (Sunday). Booking accepted by the operator.This morning the car didn't turn up and when I rung I was told it's not possible to book in advance for Sundays!!!Why did they accept the booking and put the ride in the system? Even the answering machine said you have a booking".This has caused me and my child huge issues today.Before you apologize in the reply

These guys are always wonderful. Been using them since I was a kid and their service is always friendly, speedy and welcoming. If you want a local company/anything but Uber, these guys are the only choice for Sheffield. 20+ years of custom from me to show for it!

Jokers! Booked well in advance, then they were late. They then called just just after our booked time with a high price, £30 for a 6 mile round trip, and sent a tracker and they were 20 minutes away which would have made us late so we cancelled. We ended up getting a ride for £12 round trip with someone else. Do not use this company.
