We finished letting in June this year and had nothing but a smooth journey with uni lets.From the beginning Pete showed us a lovely house and didn’t waste our time showing us houses we wouldn’t be interested in.Pete allowed us to add conditions to our contract that let us add on additional items/ services that we thought were necessary and on move in day all was delivered as promised.We were skeptical about getting our deposits back due to previous greedy landlords but pete was so rapid at returning them and issuing the full amount.All in all, I feel like unilets have been nothing but fair and we have had such an easy year dealing with them.

Please do not let with this company. They have no idea what they’re doing, nothing is done properly or formally. You’ll be ignored until it’s convenient for them to answer. They’ll fix some things and not others. It has taken 8 weeks to get our deposit back in full after the landlord constantly changed his mind whether to make deductions or not. It’s taken a lot of texts, emails, phone calls (majority of which were ignored) as well as taking advice from LUU and starting a formal deposit protection dispute. If you have no alternative but to go with this agent, make sure you know what you should have from the get go, including a deposit protection certificate (signed by all tenants) and an inventory report (or they may try and charge you for things you never had).

I will definitely suggest this agency for all the international students for finding there accommodation. I have personal experience with this agency for the last two years am the tenant in one of there House. All there services and dealings are really good. And also the rent for the houses are really cheap when we compared to the other agencies who let houses . Definitely people trying touch with this agency to sort your house problem. The director peter William is a very nice guy with a kind heart who will definitely help you in all aspects.

Fantastic 8 man property from UniLets. They were quick to respond to any questions or issues that we needed assistance with. Good value rent with bills included. Overall great service, would recommend.

Please stay clear of this company if you want a hassle free, easy rental as this is far from it. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Flat was filthy when we moved in - we received comments on how neat and tidy we kept it during the tenancy, then at the end they tried to charge for cleaning that didn’t need doing unless we travelled back to Leeds in the middle of lockdown to re clean. Luckily I had taken pictures of the flat on the day I moved out and was able to prove it was in a clean and tidy state when I had left (they have now used these pictures that I had taken to advertise the flat on their website without my permission). They had us sharing internet with the downstairs flat but paying full price and tried to take money from our deposit for stealing items that were never even there. They ignored all emails texts and phone calls when we tried contesting this and it wasn’t until we resulted to a dispute that we got our deposit back due to a lack of evidence on their side - two months after moving out. Awful service, poor communication and disgusting manners. Glad to be rid of them.
