Excellent food (fish and chips especially tasty) and friendly efficient service to include treats and water for our dog! Beers also very enjoyable. Amazing views across Widemouth Bay.

Visited for an evening meal so I cannot comment on accommodation.We enjoyed some good, basic fayre, Beef Lasagne, and Macaroni Cheese, seated at a window table which added to the experience particularly as the sun went down.This was a mid-September, out of season visit, so it was pretty quiet and it's likely to be much busier at the height of the holiday season.The Pub is dog friendly

Food is just average pub grub and the menu is very overpriced! Can’t comment on the accommodation as we only dropped in for dinner - ended up eating at home after what was a very disappointing visit here. The kids menu must be priced per chip as for £8 we got 3 chicken nuggets and about 5 chips!Definitely won’t be returning on our next visit to Bude.

Lovely venue, dog friendly idyllic location, and super friendly staff. We were disappointed with the food though, it looked good but not much taste sadly. But the restaurant was busy, so maybe we were having an off day, lol

Completely agree with last review. This place used to be great....decent enough pub grub and good atmosphere.Now a small hotel it appears to serve very mediocre food which is also very over priced....£95 for chewy burger,some bland prawns swimming in a vinegary salad. Fish and chips and 1 kids meal plus one round of drinks.Shame as someone said before it's a great location.

Used to be great now barely average! Food here just over a year ago was amazing so didn't mind paying above the norm but now it's poor and still pricey!Such a shame used to have a nice atmosphere paired with great views of Widemouth Bay. Just the views left to admire here now.....

We thought we'd give it a go as we live locally, and haven't eaten there for years. The location and the pub/restaurant are stunning, however the food portions are tiny. The food what we had served was tasty, but in our opinion not worth the money. £16.00 for two fishcakes, a side salad and approx 2 new potatoes cut in half! The fish and chips were also very small for £16.50. If the food portions were bigger we would definitely come back to eat, but as it stands, will only pop in for a drink next time.

Great location when the weather is sunny or stormy. The decking has plenty of seating with sprawling views of the Cornish countryside and coast. Prices are average for most other places around this area. Staff seemed pleasant. Didn't try the food so can't comment. Plenty of parking and clean and modern decor.

We had a wonderful dinner in the week. The lady that served us was incredibly friendly, helpful and generally brilliant! Very family and dog friendly restaurant meant we could all enjoy our evening and the glorious view.Also very allergen friendly - they even brought a product out for me to see the packaging to check my allergen. Brilliant service.
