The best place to start our DIY journey. We added what we need to the basket online then went in store to collect the orders. Stuffs were helpful and they have everything! What an absolute gem!

Handy for DIY supplies, though when asked for assistance with obtaining a certain plaster I was told by a male staff member that a forklift wasn't available" for the sky high pallet it was stacked on and the cashier had absolutely no clue what type of expanding filler foam they had in stock when queried. "The customer is always right"

5* for John at Wickes Birkenhead, a manager who actually cares about customers. A rare thing these days.To cut a long story short, an item was missing from our delivery meaning our job couldnt start. We had spent a fortune hiring equipment, booked time off work as we are doing it ourselves, so it was a disaster when the order arrived incomplete. After all, you do pick a delivery date for a reason.I called the branch to complain, and spoke to John who listened to me sounding off in full spoilt cow mode, as you do. He went above and beyond to arrange to supply the stuff we needed and our job could start on time.He explained everything perfectly. He even contacted me on his day off to keep me informed. It would have been very easy for him to leave me to wait until the Monday but he didn't.Thank you for the great service!

Terrible management , left the shop with a tin of paint and lid was not sealed properly , the reason i know this is because it was off when i arrived home , it destroyed my bag and a number of things inside only for the manager to say ahhh sorry not our problem speak to ronseal, absolute joke

When in to get insulation and askd if you could get it of the higher shelf . Took the lady 20 minutes and still didn't come back . So I went to the till and she was just standing around . Then was told they were short staffed and told you will just have to wait . Walked out the store with nothing down to your staffs attitude.

Went to Birkenhead store yesterday and required a heavy package.asked a young person if it was possible for them to lift it for me .thay did this and took it to the till .found out there name was Willplease

20 min at the till staff clueless,, they don’t seem to be able to complete any transaction without support!!! Sort yourself out!

Called in yesterday looking for a 2 prong kettle lead the lady on the front desk was very polite and helpful she pointed me in the direction and the chap with the long hair was also very friendly. He showed me where it was and couldn't do enough to help. Top notch service

Staff were very helpful and polite. Items I went for were not out on shelves, so the guy went and got them with a fork lift truck very quickly. He was super helpful and did so without any need to ask. Great service.
