1 star is too good for these guys. I'm going away to a very cold country for 6 months. I requested inhalers last week and they got rejected. I was told I needed an asthma review which is no bother as I'm new to the surgery and familiar with this process. I called last week to book an appointment for the asthma review as instructed. Got the appointment booked over the phone for today (or so I thought). I took the day off from work to attend this appointment. Only for me to receive a text saying it has been cancelled. So, I decided to go into the surgery to find out why as I will be travelling on Thursday morning and was promised a prescription for my inhaler after the asthma review, today. Only for me to go in and find out that they had booked me for a smear test instead of an asthma review (not even old enough to be getting a smear test). It's obvs an upsetting issue as I had to take the day off from work for this and now will be travelling on Thursday morning without inhalers. The receptionist, Angela said it was my fault as I have been registered with them for a year now and have not had an asthma review done before now. But her colleague has messed up my appointment. Angela refused to acknowledge that her colleague made an error by booking me in for the wrong test which has in turn left me stranded as the Gp will not write me a prescription for those inhalers until I have an asthma review. Today was the only free time I had before my trip on Thursday but Milman Road has decided that I should travel for 6 months without inhalers to a country that is currently at -34•CIn Angela’s words ‘...For this reason (the reason being that I was upset), you are not even getting a telephone call ‘Avoid this surgery if you want to live. The incompetent staff especially the ones at the reception need to be reprimanded. It's a disgusting service.

By the time you've been ringing for 2 hrs; no appointments or found yourself in the phone queue at no.16; no appointments. They say come to the surgery at 8am to make an appointment; cost 4 taxis. This surgery is unfit by the time you get an appointment; dead.

I have been attending this surgery for years as I have several chronic medical conditions. Unfortunately, things have deteriorated in terms of the service provided. I have to have a B12 injection every 3 months. This is a maintenance treatment which is absolutely essential to me staying well. If my levels drop, I would be at risk of pernicious anaemia which is life threatening. With my last 2 appointments, I have been terribly messed about. My last appointment, for example, was booked and cancelled 3 times. It is imperative that I have this injection within the 3 month period and I kept getting told no one was actually available. This caused unnecessary stress. It is also very stressful trying to get an appointment. I called at 8am this week and had 24 callers in front of me. When I eventually got through I did manage to get an appointment. The doctor I saw was ok and she requested tests and a follow up in a week's time to discuss the best treatment once my test results come back. When I went to reception to book the appointment I was spoken to in an unacceptably rude way and told that I needed a white note from the doctor to say I could book the appointment. If I didn't have one I'd have to call on the day again. Despite myself and my husband both saying that it was necessary to get this appointment, the staff would not budge. I ended up having to wait for the doctor to finish with her next patient to ask her to give me this note they were asking for. In the meantime, a member of staff had contacted her and she'd said it was ok to book me in. When the staff came out to reception to book the appointment, they were rude, arrogant and totally dismissive of me. I was treated like I was a nuisance. It's not the first time I've had this treatment. It angered my husband too as I'm very poorly at the moment. Whilst I understand that it's a challenging environment to work in at the moment, patients are attending and using a doctor's surgery because they are vulnerable. The way I was treated caused me terrible anxiety and was very stressful which will exacerbate my health problems. Doctors surgeries should be monitored. If this kind of service continues at this surgery, I'm going to raise a complaint to a more senior member of staff as it's just not acceptable to behave like this. This surgery is not meeting an acceptable standard of service and the staff should not be allowed to get away with it. I have to say that I agree with everyone's comments here.

Does not even deserve a star. Phone line completely locked off for 3/4 hours. After that was on hold for 42 minutes. Was explaining my issue to the member on staff on the phone until she cut me off & just said “we’re completely booked, call tomorrow” then proceeded to cut the call.Offered no support at all. I understand this is high volume work and there is a wait. But to wait that long and get absolutely no help at all is ridiculous.

I had my first appointment with my tummy pain with Doctor then she prescribed me omeprazole though I was explained her the situation of my pain but went back with same problem in 1 and half week with different doctor and she as well didn’t check me properly and asked me continue omeprazole. After 1 week I was in extremely pain and went to A&E and did all test get to know that the problem was life threatening due to not getting properly checked on time by GP doctors my pain and problem inside was escalated so much. This the negligence of the doctors that putting the patients life in danger so now they can’t return my health life back to me . I am stuck with all sorts of meds, pain, appointments all the time. This is very frustrating atleast check and listen to the patients when they come for check up. We as patients believe in doctors fully when going for check up and if the doctors themselves is not doing their job properly and putting the patients life in danger then we won’t be able to go to GP in future anymore. Please Please check patient and their past records properly.

Awful place, can never get through on the phones and so have to leave work to get to the surgery physically for an appointment. If you’re slightly late in the mornings, they have no appt available and I’ve not seen my doctor in years! They used to be so good and always seen quickly and efficiently, however recently it has gone down in looking after patients. Definitely will be leaving this surgery as it’s awful seeing your children ill but unable to get them seen by the doctor.

If I could give zero stars I would. The lady who answered the call doesn't even know how to spell my name. I've been trying to make an appointment face to face for 3 days. but every time it's the same and the doctor calls and tells me to look for help on the internet. and stay home for a week. worst clinic

Past 2 months I have been trying to book appointment, no luck. I keep on getting text messages from surgery book appointment to see doctor ref Consultant report but reception saying no appointment available & diary is not open to book so we cannot book any appointment . My consultant from RBH called to check if medicine working. I have mention, I cannot appointment see doctor to start the treatment. Staff very rude, NHS should close this surgery down or replace professional new staff.
