The premises are nice and clean.The service was second to none and my 5 year old daughter was made welcome.Lovely breakfast. Just how cafes used to be :)We could do with more like Finnegans!

Also something for vegetarians:I can fully recommend Finnegans Diner! I ate here several times a week during my 1 month stay and have to say this is the best food in Luton.The veggie breakfast is great, my recommendation is: have the veggie breakfast and if you're very hungry then order in addition a veggie omelet!Finnegan is super friendly and gives everyone a warm welcome.

What a wonderful find. The food is cooked on the spot, and is very tasty, produced with care. Interesting Caribbean dishes in additional to typical food you would find in a diner - such as English breakfasts, burgers, etc. I had the large English breakfast which was well cooked and enjoyable. Finnegan is very nice and enjoys a conversation while he prepares the meal. I will be back more often - I can’t believe I didn’t even know about this place. Recommended!!

Lovely breakfast from such an attentive owner. Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in Luton, with such a gracious host. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the hot chocolate was delicious. My new breakfast spot and so glad I finally tried it out.

The kind of place you wind up coming back to for decades. Amazing food straight off the grill, and the owner makes you feel like a regular as he makes your food himself. A dying breed of diner and host here, what makes you feel like you've come home to a hot plate after a long day. Finnegan is a local legend, let him serve you up a plate and chew your ear a bit and you'll immediately understand why.

This is the place to go if you're looking for a friendly, local cafe. The owner was very welcoming and you can see that by how well he knows his customers when they come in.We ordered the all day breakfast and our plates were completely empty when we had finished. The portions are good sized and the food is cooked well (and cooked by the owner himself).There is a good amount of seating with a TV in the corner for ambience. There is a small toilet behind two doors, but the first door leading to it doesn't actually close properly, so it's worth sitting further away from this area if possible. The cafe itself is very clean, with the tables being wiped down when someone leaves.Overall we had a pleasant lunch here and would revisit when in the area again.

The scrambled eggs on toast don’t look like much but they are the best I eaten in yearssss. Scrumptious omelette full of veggies and delicious coffee! Iced coffee here is better than the ones in London which are double triple the price
