Chris has been our guitar teacher for the past 6 years, teaching two of our children. He has taken the time to get to know each one and how they learn best. This has resulted in them achieving the highest grades and continuing to love learning and playing guitar. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough!

Chris has been super helpful. I came as a self-taught guitarist of 3 years or so. Slowly but surely he is helping to undo some of the bad habits I had acquired in that time as well as teaching me ways to improve all aspects of my playing. I am also, finally, beginning to understand some of the musical theory of the instrument. I can highly recommend Chris and his way of teaching.

I've been learning to play guitar with Chris since 2021, and I can't recommend him highly enough! He strikes a great balance between technique, theory and fun, so I always look forward to our lessons and have built a surprisingly large repertoire of songs on both acoustic and electric guitar. Chris is a great confidence builder and I've made much faster progress under his tuition than I expected, as we consistently build my skills while still learning to play the music I love.

Chris is a great guitar tutor. His pupil-led teaching style keeps my son engaged and motivated, and the online set-up works really smoothly. My son has made amazing progress over the last year, and can't wait to continue next year!

I've been working with Chris for a few years now and he's made a vast difference to the standard my guitar playing. He is always patient and helpful and gently encourages me in the right direction whilst keeping me interested and motivated. He really seems to understand the psychology of learning music as well being an excellent teacher and guitarist himself. His diverse knowledge of music and musical styles give a lot of scope for me to learn the different pieces that I want to.Thanks Chris!

Really enjoy my lessons with Chris. He's super knowledgeable and friendly. I'm into transcribing and he's really helped me to move that forward. We have quite a flexible approach to lessons at the moment, usually it's me bringing something to him and us working on it. This really suits me as I invariably encounter things between lessons that I need some help with. Thanks Chris!

Since starting lessons with Chris, my guitar playing has drastically improved. Chris has taught me using songs and material that I want to play, as well as offering new suggestions to compliment my music taste. Each lesson feels very relaxed and I would highly recommend to anybody who wants to learn.

Chris is not only an excellent guitarist, he's also an excellent teacher. I asked him to help with some trouble I was having preparing for an electric guitar exam; he quickly identified a couple of problems with my technique that were holding me back and allowed me to sail through the exam. We have since started classical guitar lessons, which have been pitched at just the right level to be challenging but not overwhelming, and it's been a pleasure to be learning something completely new.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris - whether you are a complete novice or an experienced guitarist looking for some tweaks to step up a level!
