Absolutely perfect bottomless brunch. Great cocktails, delicious food and Tasha and Maddie were BRILLIANT hosts- kept us plied with drinks and were just delightful!!

Food is okay but you definitely pay a Stevenson Square premium when it comes to price - £6.50 for small portion of wings & £9 for two pieces of prawn toast struck me as particularly poor value. Service was pleasant enough but very slow, but it’s a new place so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Decent vibe for a couple of nice drinks in a good part of town, but I wouldn’t bother eating, it’s a 10 minute walk in to Chinatown from there for better food at a more reasonable price.

Inventive yet not over the top cocktails, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and a very slick design. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the food.Fantastic addition to Stevenson Square and definitely will return!

Been wanting to come to Public for a while now, and ended up on an impromptu visit with my friend this evening! The barman was amazing and made us the best spicy margaritas we’ve ever had, thank you (soz we didn’t get you’re name)! We ordered the ‘Noods’ , burger and smacked cucumbers! And they did not disappoint. Love how the menu is small and ridiculously reasonably priced.. and then the taste was unbelievable! Can’t wait to revisit and try the rest of the menu. Them noodles are not Normal? Absolute taste sensation!

Went to Public this evening for a well deserved cocktail after shopping, ordered a spicy margarita which was the best one I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few!!!! Ordered some food and it was unbelievable, went to a new opening on John dalton street on Saturday with friends and this food at Public blown it out of the water, the bill was £400 nearly and I can’t stress enough that this food at Public was 100 times better and much cheaper!!!I think I’ve just found mine and my friend’s favourite place in town!!!10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ⭐️

genuinely was so excited for this place, wanted it to be my new regular.. but was charged £45 for a £10 orange wine? so £45 a bottle to drink in.. the mark up is 269%. when local competitors (kerb) offer it for £20 and £30 to drink in?! i don’t think. also customer service was dry lol. bunch of yuppies trying to make another aesthetic place happen. wish you all the success though.

Good vibes for drinks and quick food in Stephenson square. Service was quick and very kind with live dj on the night which we visited. Best things to order from the things I got were the burger, chicken burger and noodles!

Loved Public! The interior is very cool and staff were all very sweet. Drinks were great and the food was brilliant. Opted for the burger and fries and wasn’t disappointed. Was full for about 4 hours after.

Great space, nicely decorated. Food was delicious, would highly recommend the Tofu & Char Sui Pork. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Only critique would be that it was expensive for the portion sizes. Between two we got 3 small dishes and two orange juices and it came to £31 which seems very high for the portion sizes but will definitely still be returning!
