We have ordered cakes from here multiple times and they never disappoint - truly delicious and well made cakes plus excellent service. Highly recommended!

Ordered cake for my son birthday, got 2 of them, one chocolate and one vanilla flavour, been so so tasty, fresh and looked amazing.

Cakes are of great quality but the staff who served me was quite the opposite. Went in and waited to get served, and the staff blatantly blanked me and served some other man behind me who spoke the same language as he did. He then further wrote the wrong name on the birthday cake which I ordered (after I spelled it out for him on a paper; it should be Ada" not "Adaa"). Not a great experience

With 24 hours notice, La Maison Gateau made the most fabulous chocolate birthday cake! The cake and frosting were light as air. The perfect combination between cake and frosting! Magnificent!

The service here is ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. It was my birthday recently, and my parents got me a cake from here as they have done for the past three years.The cake itself was lovely and fresh, I do have to say. However, my parents told me they had ordered pistachio but the cake was just a regular vanilla cake. My mum went in to enquire about it and one guy was unapologetic, argumentative and just so rude. She then went in with my dad and spoke with the manager, who was apologetic and understanding but offered no sort of compensation. What if the birthday person specifically wanted that flavour? I’m sorry to say, but the problem with a lot of these smaller establishments is that they have no interest in pleasing none other than their own community. You cannot run a business like this.

Stopped in for breakfast recently, all ordering the full English. Worst I've ever been served. Overcooked eggs, sausage and bacon that are both cheap and dry, most or maybe all of which were definitely reheated or left under lights for hours instead of being made fresh which is just awful. Portioning was stingy, and the mushrooms were almost definitely expired or left out too long and were inedible. Avoid this place, at least for food

Don't expect to feel welcomed or get good customer service if you do not speak their language; Arabic. Received wrong order of a cake, went in to raise the issue, got verbal abuse and blamed by the aggressive old man that works there; head chef" apparently. Went in again to speak to manager who apologised for the wrong order and behaviour of old man - who displayed his aggressive behaviour again right in front of manager! Absolutely no compensation
