Sally Montague Town Spa, Salon & Studio

Steph is phenomenal! I feel very fortunate to have found her after moving from Toronto a year ago. It’s always nerve-wracking changing stylists, but I’ve never been happier. She’s extremely talented, magically manages to keep my blonde healthy(!), and is just lovely to boot :)Absolutely top - best of everyone I’ve been to in Toronto, New York and London over the years.The salon itself is a beautiful, chic space and you feel pampered after a visit.

The salon is absolutely beautiful and everyone is always so welcoming. Steph does my hair and I cannot recommend her enough, she is a lovely, friendly & genuine person. :)She listens to what I want and just gets it! I'm always thrilled with how she cuts and styles my hair, I had so many compliments on my hair after my last visit!

Very unhelpful staff, made a booking online had a confirmation and everything had a patch test all was fine until I turned up and and they sent me away because they had lost my booking, refused to give me back my deposit though it was no fault of my own. Would not recommend at all.

I was bought a gift voucher by my sister last Christmas and only got round to using it on the 7th September this year. I cannot fault the service itself however the after care has been appalling. I was told that the card had no money on it and was forced to pay for the service, this was extremely embarrassing on a busy Saturday morning where I was made to feel like a criminal. It certainly tainted the relaxing experience. I then received a call saying that it was your fault and that the money had been taken from my sister but not put on the card. I explicitly asked for a refund back to my card which I was told would happen on the following Monday. I rang and checked on the Tuesday that it had been processed and was rudely told that it takes up to 5 days and was still going through. Let me say at this point I had still not received an apology. Roll on 1 week later and the money is still not back in my account. I rang again today and was told that they cannot refund to credit cards and they had put the money on my account. This to me seems like clear fraud, you have taken my sisters money and my money in the hope I will forget and not check the refund has processed. If you could not refund to a credit card you could have rung me on Monday the 9th and told me this instead of squirrelling my money away. Again I was spoken to dismissively and not given an apology. I have honestly never been party to such disgusting customer service.Presumably this complaint will get ignored to, as that seems to be how you train your staff!

I, along with my sisters and Mum, each had a massage at Sally Montague in Ashbourne yesterday- we were absolutely blown away by the service that we received. We were made to feel so welcome and cared for, and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely ladies working there! And the massages were incredible- the best we've ever had! I would highly recommend a visit to Sally Montague for all your self care needs, whether you live locally or whether you're on holiday close by (like us!) Thankyou ladies for such an amazing and lovely service x

Absolutely fantastic salon. Stephanie has done my hair countless times over the past few years, and is always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Her attention to detail is second to none, and she’s always more than happy to provide her expertise on ways to improve my hair’s health. She’s also always been more than happy to discuss new ideas I’ve had for my hair, and work with me in order to create my dream shade of colour. The front of house staff are always incredibly welcoming, and the overall vibe is fantastic.

This is my 2nd visit to this salon since moving up here from London. I have to say my previous salon were good but Sally Montague is in another league. Everybody knows your name and they are so friendly and ultra professional. I struggle with my hair as it's frizzy and Sally has improved it no end. I would also like to mention I had the best hair wash and head massage ever - sheer bliss !!!

Grace did my eyebrows today and it was the most excellent experience I’ve ever had with an eyebrow wax anywhere. She made sure I was comfortable throughout and did whatever she could to try and improve the experience even more. Everything was 10/10. Thankyou Grace!
