This stop was part of our 5 mile walk around the Hughenden Valley.Good veiws of the surrounding area, good place to have a picnic before setting off again.Monument needs some renervation.

Great view to accompany our picnic. Not many people there and certainly none stated long. Short walk through woodland to get there was accompanied by beautiful birds' chorus. Short walk to Hughenden.

Lovely place to go for a walk. You can see the Hughenden Manor and follow the national trust path with ease.

Beautiful spot, the monument is dedicated to Benjamin Disraeli's father and was a gift from his wife. It sits opposite the valley from the manor and gives wonderful views over the surrounding parkland and countryside, especially at sunset. It's always open, no charge and there's a bench or two.

To far from the house to walk and then, not an easy route to find it. So after 1/2hr we turned back. Maybe have an info board explaining directions, times etc. So as not to waste time!
