[ BLOCK CAPITALS used below are not shouting, but important aspects because usual bold / italic / underline are not available in this review system. ]I & S Locksmiths…ISL…are ABSOLUTE GODS (DIVINE SAVIOURS) for helping me in my recent scary emergency:I live in Wimbledon & I was taking MY FATHER (AGED 90), also living in Wimbledon, to North London. I reached his home to collect him: I RANG HIS DOOR BELL — NO ANSWER !! I RANG IT REPEATEDLY — NO ANSWER !! I HAD SPARE KEYS TO OPEN HIS FRONT DOOR — NOT UNLOCKING because the Chubb key inside the lock (DOOR LOCKED FROM INSIDE) would not shift, despite my Chubb key outside trying to push the key inside on the floor behind !! I BANGED ON THE DOOR OUTSIDE AND CALLED MY FATHER LOUDLY; I RANG HIS LANDLINE PHONE (RINGING LOUDLY, HEARD FROM OUTSIDE) — NO ANSWERS, BOTH TIMES !! I knew…SOMETHING VERY BAD HAD HAPPENED TO MY FATHER (INCAPACITATED & NOT ANSWERING REPEATED CONTACT WITH HIM) !! WAS HE DEAD INSIDE HIS HOME ??As I could not open his front door, I went to ISL & explained this scary emergency, needing the door opened urgently — hopefully, from outside the locked door, shifting the Chubb key inside the lock & pushing it on the floor behind, otherwise, drilling the Chubb lock & fitting a new one. The Manager took all required information & told me to return there & await his worker (on another job nearby). This worker arrived shortly afterwards & tried from outside the locked door to shift the key inside — no success initially, but SUCCESS eventually !! CHUBB KEY INSIDE LANDED ON THE FLOOR BEHIND, so I UNLOCKED THE DOOR WITH MY KEYS & RACED INSIDE TO FIND MY FATHER while the worker waited outside the door…MY FATHER WAS LYING FLAT ON HIS BACK ON HIS BED, DRIED BLOOD AROUND HIS MOUTH & CHEST (PRIOR VOMITING ON HIS PILLOW & BEDDING) WHILE HE LAY HELPLESS / IMMOBILE. HE LOOKED PALE / GAUNT (NOT HIS USUAL HEALTHY LOOK). HE WAS COVERED IN A QUILT AS HE STARED AROUND BLANKLY, NOT SPEAKING, EVEN WHEN I ASKED HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED — HE MIGHT NOT EVEN HAVE RECOGNISED ME (HIS SON) !! HE DRIFTED IN & OUT OF SLEEP, HELPLESS / IMMOBILE / SILENT & STARING BLANKLY WHEN AWAKE !!I told the worker outside that MY FATHER WAS VERY POORLY; I obtained the invoice for this call-out, but I COULD NOT PAY (CARD) — THE WORKER WAS MOST UNDERSTANDING / SYMPATHETIC:“TAKE THE INVOICE TO THE SHOP WHEN YOU ARE READY. YOU ATTEND TO YOUR FATHER. HE IS MORE IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW.”I thanked THE WORKER profusely for HELPING ME ENTER MY FATHER’S HOME — & FIND MY FATHER VERY POORLY (PRIOR AILMENTS / HELPLESS / IMMOBILE / SILENT) !! Obviously, the original appointment (North London) was cancelled. The worker left.I requested an ambulance for my father — initial tests (ambulance staff) showed worryingly that MY FATHER HAD A POSSIBLE STROKE (his right side not moving & no speech), so he was taken to hospital for tests / investigations / observations / treatments to restore his health. TESTS (SCANS, ETC.) SHOWED NO SIGNS OF A STROKE — HE RECOVERED REMARKABLY (SPEECH RESTORED & WALKING AROUND 1-2 DAYS LATER), BUT HE IS IN HOSPITAL, UNTIL HIS HEALTH STABILISES FOR HIS DISCHARGE.HENCE, WHY ISL ARE “ABSOLUTE GODS” (DIVINE SAVIOURS) JUSTIFIABLY FOR HELPING ME IN THIS SCARY EMERGENCY !! NO IDEA HOW / WHEN I WOULD HAVE ENTERED MY FATHER’S HOME WITHOUT ISL’s PROMPT HELP GIVEN !! ALSO, THE DOOR’S CHUBB LOCK IS INTACT (NO DRILLING, NO DAMAGE & NO NEW LOCK NEEDED) !!5 “stars” (star-ratings) are NOT enough for ISL’s entire work above — our entire universe filled with “stars” (no pun intended !!) could not give a deserved star-rating for ISL’s brilliant service given during this scary emergency !!My heartfelt gratitude & appreciation to ISL for helping me here.
