Entered a lively pub with a good atmosphere without a booking. They found us a table in a really packed place and our meal was delivered to our tale within 20 minutes. We had a mixed grill which was well presented tasted superb and was well appreciated after a hard week at work. Staff pleasant and attentative cannot fault it

Received a warm welcome as soon as I entered The Apollo. Was shown to the table I reserved. Once we had placed our order it was delivered quickly and the staff were very friendly and asked if we needed anything else they could get us. The food was well presented,hot and delicious. Would recommend and visit again

Called Apollo last minute to see if they could accommodate a table for ten people on Saturday 25/11/23.They found us a table and the service was 100 percent. The staff were so helpful and polite.The food was presented very well and was delicious.We have not been in apollo for a couple of years but will definitely not leave it that long again.We shall be there in march for family reunion if not before.Thank you to all the staff was a pleasure to visit your public house and food perfect xx

We really enjoyed the food and drink and the service was 1st class especially with a 30 percent discount off the price for main meals etc. The only problem was the girlfriend like her lasagne crispy on top but otherwise excellent. Keep up the good service and see you soon.

Great friendly pub. We have been to a few family events. One just been breakfast with Santa. Kids loved it, was really nice the fact that Santa visited every table and made an effort to speak to all kids. Breakfast choice for the kids was good too, they had cereal, biscuits and a cooked breakfast. Not to hectic for a morning, atmosphere was nice.

Just shared a work colleague lunchtime at Apollo. First visit for a very long time.Decent place, clean and big. Plenty of options for dining. Bench seating with tables, tables for 4 and 6 scattered about. If you enjoy watching sport on TV there are plenty of screens around to view. No TVs in the space beside the fenced off outdoor area, which is where we chose to sit. Ladies loo literally 10' away. Clean and functional.Menu is very good. Plenty of meat free options. And a couple of vegan. Burgers, Hunter's Chicken and the cauliflower and red pepper curry were our choices. All food was delicious and hot. And served on hot plates, yay. Clean plates all round. I loved the curry and would have it again. We all had the chocolate brownie sundae for dessert. Fabulous!Latte was lovely. Service at the bar was friendly, polite and efficient. Our server (Jayne) was efficient.All in all I'd recommend Apollo as a lunchtime stop off. Prices, service and environment are all excellent.

The Apollo is a nice place to go for a meal. It's a Marston's pub, so you know what will be on the menu. The food and the service has always been good. There is a nice bar area with two dart boards and a pool table. There's also big screen tvs for watching sport. There's a wide range of beers, lager and cider at the barbut sadly no cask conditioned real ale Or hand pumps. This is a Very disappointing And difficult to understand because it is a busy pub, usually you would expect at least marstons pedigree and another real ale. You can't beat a nice pint of cask conditioned, real ale with your meal. There is a nice big free car park and plenty of outside seating.
