Please don’t go with Utilita otherwise you will end up in a Mental hospital, My problem is going on for a year and no body got in touch with me, I tried to get in touch so many times but no good, Customer services is so poor that every single person will tell a different story, strongly recommended to not go to Utilita , this company should be shut down , their electricity rates are so high, no help is available on their chat or even on calls,

Called Utilita early April to advise my smart meter in display wasn’t working, I was advised to send back the faulty one, which I did but after 2 months of waiting for the new display to be told that it had been sent out and a charge of £40 had been added to my meter. I asked them for proof of receipt but still awaiting a response. Will be asking for a deadlock letter and will be referring to the OFGEM complaints dept. Absolutely dreadful company and appalling customer services. I have now signed up with octopus Energy.

There is no way to speak to someone at this company. I've spent hours on the phone over several days trying to get through to someone only to be waiting in a queue and then cut off. Live chat is never open. No response to customer relations email address. Ignored on Facebook. Initially received a reply on Twitter and then tumbleweed from then on. I should note that we were in an emergency as our top-ups were not going through and we were about to be cut off. DO NOT go with this company. There is no accountability. Reporting them to Ofgem and changing supplier.

Unbelievable, after cancelling by phone and email 1 day after considering joining this company they have underhandedly still went ahead with the switch.. my current supplier saying I have left and utilita sending welcome letters? Absolutely ridiculous. Don't go near these people

Absolutely disgusted with this Company!! My partner was advised by his local council to report his Smart Meter faulty. After waiting just over hours to get through, she eventually gave him a number of an Engineer to call ... in High Wycombe ... we're in Glasgow!! Asked to speak to Supervisor, put him on hold for 6 minutes the cut him off. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They are/were the most stressful part of moving house. Called them on the phone and was told to send to send IDs and proof of owner ship to a email address ( not very data secure). I found a form on there website and filled it out to submit all the info to they require.I have decided to leave them so put in a transfer request to move to Octopus. I get two letters claiming there an outstanding balance even though the meters in my new flat both show in credit.Currently on hold with them, I have been hung up on twice now. Fingers crossed I won't be with them much longer.

Unprofessional one department doesn't know what the other is doing January if this is not sorted I will be transferring my electric to Scottish gas
