Melksham Community Campus (gym and library)

Lovely new facilities but online booking still does not work, expect having their own website would be better both for booking and publicity.Having attended a family swim session quite surprised at how cold the learning pool is and changing room is seeing as little ones core temperature can change so quickly.For the sake of wheel chair and buggy users not sure why they didn’t put a drop kerb in meaning people have to walk on the vehicle access to get to the entrance of the building from what is otherwise a well provisioned pedestrian pathway.

Have only used the pool so far, but the facilities are modern and clean and a huge improvement over the old Blue Pool.

The new facilities have been well designed. Practical yet comfortable". It would seem that everything has been thought of. The reception team are all helpful

Upgraded review. Facilities are great. Lovely pool and changing rooms. Cafe to the side which you can see into the pool from. Great facility. Last time I left a one star review because it was a mission to get through on the phones. They have improved and it is not a full morning session to get through now. Can usually get through with a couple calls. I only call because you cannot book non members online without an account, I often come here with my under 3 which is a free entrant but can't add her to my booking when I book online. Would be far better to allow nonmember bookings in conjunction with members and not have to register. I recently went to the Olympiad in Chippenham and you can add multiple attendees to one booking online, they use the same website so why can't we do it with all the Wiltshire council pools? Upgraded review again. Finally implemented the booking system to allow you to book more than one person at a time. Including non members. Much better system.

A lovely clean and bright facility. The library is well thought out too.The team we met on Saturday were helpful.Trying to get hold of them on the phone is nearly impossible, taking over 100 calls to speak to someone.And very complicated to get the WiFi on site.

Lovely facilities, but awful service if you need to contact them. You'll never be able to ring them to book anything. It's never answered. :-(Such a shame that the council haven't improved anything since the campus opened.

I love It there.. It's so clean and modern.. The pool and the gym are top notch. The gym is a nice size and full of up to date equipment.. I haven't used the vast sports hall or the library and seating area but it also looks great.. I especially like that you don't have to que at the reception to get in, as they have a self service console and gate.. I drive to Melksham from Trowbridge to use the gym, I only wish Trowbridge council would build a gym to that standard..

Lovely new facility...I would like rowing machines to have a view when using them through a window! I would appreciate fitness & yoga classes at the weekends. Gym has high tech machine interface! Very helpful staff.Pool clean and many showers, including individual ones.Overall, a Beautiful facility with all things working.Need own padlock for lockers, but can buy one there.ALso houses library - nice option!Cafe not open yet - looking forward - had good machines for snacks and drinks though!

Lovely pool with clean changing facilities! Easy to book sessions. EV Charging and lots of parking. Hope the cafe opens soon!

Brilliant building and amenities. But they literally never answer the phone. Rang 22 times today and nothing. The staff bar a select few are extremely rude and not helpful at all. Community campus but only seems to be ran for those who have paid memberships.
