Spoke to Lee on telephone and given good honest advice. I was able to get repair dealt with at no cost to me. In essence my hob was covered under a contract - Lee advised possible electrical problem at isolation switch which was not covered with that contract. It was covered under British gas and correctly repaired. Thanks - I was pointed in the right direction.

Thank you so much for your help. The engineer was on time, so polite and courteous. The fault was diagnosed and fixed within the hour. What more can you ask for. This Lady is very happy to have her machine back.

Had an engineer out, who was absolutely brilliant, spent time with me explaining on how to use appliance as I was unsure on all settings and programmes. He told what me programmes were best to use and how to maintain the machine. Booking the call was so easy. They have a great engineer there and would definitely use agin if needed .

We had a leakage from our washer/ dryer. Phill, the engineer who assisted us, did an amazing job! He identified the problem quickly, solved it in no time and also gave us some useful tips how to make our appliance more efficient. We are very satisfied with the service. Many thanks, Phill!

Repair of washing machine under warranty. Had to wait 2 weeks for an engineer visit which, with young kids, was a nightmare. That said the outcome couldn’t be faulted otherwise. Had a courtesy call the day before confirming appointment time and an email. Engineer arrived bang on time. Very pleasant, tidy and efficient. Machine fixed within the hour.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with DRC. The first visit the engineer Phil brought the wrong item to repair the induction hob. A few days later the engineer came back at 7:30 in the morning instead the scheduled time of 16:00. After the installation, I was concerned the glass was not sitting correctly to the counter top due to small debris left over from the previous hob. The engineer replied was it is a sealed and I questioned his observation. Then he replied is NOT my job to clean it and stormed off the property. This is totally not professional and very poor quality of workmanship. In addition, he did not dispose the old parts of the hob and left it on the kitchen floor. Hence all the above I will give a 0 stars rating.

Absolute shocking attitude. Engineer call arranged for Today, provided details as requested last friday to order part. However, rung at lunchtime has no communication. They cancelled my visit as did not recieve the parts they wanted. They havent even inspected yet. Made no effort to contact me and not interested at all on phone. DO NOT USE. The booking was made by Domestic & General, I have raised a complaint through them, should not be using companies like this looking at reviews over different forums.

Failed LED display on a 4 month old dishwasher, engineer came early which was great. Nice bloke, but after investigation of the problem he advised that he couldn't complete the repair as the office had ordered the wrong parts, despite being told exactly what the problem was a week previously! I did raise a complaint with John Lewis because I considered this wasted visit totally unnecessary for both me and the engineer. I did get a call to advise the correct parts were in and I booked a return visit, however the advisor on the phone was brusque and unhelpful regarding timings. Working for the NHS our time is precious and I explained I didn't want to waste a scheduled day off waiting in, so could I request an early appointment as before. She was abrupt, dismissive and very unprofessional, so I asked for a manager!! The manager was polite and understanding. The engineer DID arrive early as before and fixed the fault in 20 minutes so I'm pleased with that aspect of the service, but please give your scheduling assistant on the phone some CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING, she is appalling and she represents your company which is not good for your business. Glad this was under warranty as I would not choose this place on its terrible reviews alone. :-(If the parts had been correct at first visit I would have given more stars, however on this occasion this company let me down and themselves.When you're paying a lot of money for an appliance you command excellent aftercare in case things go wrong. Change your booking scheduler to one with compassion and customer care skills and you may get an increase in your ratings, an instant apology goes a very long way...
