We came to Richmond Harbour Hotel to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. The building is beautiful and the interior is very cosy. Check in was at 3pm but we arrived early for our spa session at 2pm. The hotel receptionist (Troy) who greeted us was extremely friendly and helpful. He ensured the room was set up with birthday decorations to surprise my girlfriend and was all round a very warm and friendly person. All staff at the hotel were class. The room was lovely and extremely cosy. The bathroom was clean and shower was very roomy. The spa facilities also were really good: nice sized pool, sauna and steam room were great. Hydopool was relaxing and the Jacuzzis round back were amazing. The massage and facial we had were also incredible.Food was lovely and the wait staff were very good, even providing birthday dessert.Only had one complaints: when booking there is very little information in confirmation especially with the spa treatment bookings. I booked for treatment on the Saturday a month prior but was told it was Friday 2pm. Which meant I had to finish work earlier than expected. It all worked out in the end but was a bit stressful at the time but suggest you ask for the spa to send a confirmation of time and date of treatment.Other than that it was a great stay and would come again in the future.

Great rooms and spa. Excellent location nearby to Richmond Park and Richmond Hill, easy walk to the Thames. I would recommend this to families as well as couples on a special trip.

We didn't have a very good stay here. We visited during a very mild spike in heat in June and paid extra for a nicer room. Unfortunately many of the rooms only have one tiny window which opens out onto a vertical tunnel with a glass ceiling on it, so there is absolutely no air flow coming in. Your view is literally a white wall with about a metre between the room's window and the wall.We were on the fourth flour and the heat was suffocating and nauseating. Air con doesn't go below 18 degrees and is not powerful. Not what you'd expect when you pay for any room, but especially not when you pay extra for a nicer one. We complained and were moved to a new room but again this faced a white wall and by this point our evening had been ruined. There is no doubt that the staff were fully aware that they were subjecting customers to these conditions on this floor but had hoped people would not complain. The spa is nice, but the swimming pool is open for the public and specifically children to use at approx 3pm, which is right when you check in. We arrived and wanted to get into the pool quickly as the spa closed at 9pm, and got downstairs to find kids screaming and running around. When you have dinner plans at 6pm and the spa closes at 9 and kids are in the pool until about 5, this doesn't give you much of a slot.No one bothered to ask how our stay was on check out so couldn't raise this then. I did however hear someone else mention they'd moved rooms so I guess this is a common issue.

Never again! This is not my first time at the hotel but definitely will be my last. Very disappointing service and unreasonable staff/management.I arrived at 3pm and the room which I asked for upon booking way in advance was not available, I was then told there is an alternative room but it won’t be ready before 3:30pm. I was very understanding and I waited, when I was back by 3:30pm the room was still not ready and I was then advised to use the spa and come back again after 4pm.The spa facilities are good but completely neglected, the showers are covered with calcium, floors need cleaning and dirty towels everywhere.I checked into my room and from the get go there were many wrong things, the room was not cleaned properly, radio was not working, coffee machine not cleaned, the bath plug was not working so I couldn’t have a bath, no robes were provided and the air con was also dysfunctional. The following day I asked for 1 hour late check out and I was denied it, because someone is checking in at 3pm and they needed the room by then. 4 hours to clean 1 room? Given everything that went wrong they couldn’t give 1 hour late check out? And it was Sunday! 3 hours is not enough to prepare for the next guest?Completely unreasonable and this stay tarnished my overall experience with them. Never again

Had a spa day for my cousins 25th birthday and had the best day! Was given the most relaxing massage by a very friendly masseuse and the facilities were lovely! They accommodated us for a halal afternoon tea which was very delicious! Highly recommend!

Wow! The restaurant at this place is worth the stay on its own. The carrot soup is the best carrot-based food I’ve put in my mouth! Everything tastes great (one small niggle: use less ice in the virgin mojito!). But this place is amazingly comfortable and homey. Next time I need to remember my swimsuit.

We stayed here one night for our anniversary to use the spa, have dinner at the gate and relax. They weren't the most helpful before we got there over the phone (dismissive with questions, just wanted us off the phone) but on arrival were very helpful and gave us a couple of complimentary drinks as it was a special occasion. The room was lovely and the spa, although a bit small was nice. Some areas of the spa (relaxation room, sauna room) are desperately in need of some music as it's next to the gym / spin class so not exactly relaxing when you can hear them shouting about all that, and the swimming pool and outdoor hydropool were not warm enough at all.The hotel failed to let us know Thames water would be using a jack hammer at 12am-2am so we couldn't sleep but when we mentioned this in the morning they gave us our dinner for free as we hadn't paid yet which seemed a fair apology.

A lovely hotel with amazing staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the Harbour hotel. Upon arrival, the staff were very welcoming and polite, check in was swift. The hotel has lots of interesting artwork in the rooms and corridors and the carpet throughout was incredibly plush. The main corridors of the hotel were filled with a pleasant aroma, which would drawer people to the spa.I stayed in room 207 (I forget which room type this was) Everything was clean and had a 4* feel to it. There were 2 complimentary bottles of still water and the mini bar was well stocked. Plenty of different lighting options in the room, which was a nice touch. The toiletries in the bathroom were lovely, they all smelt natural and appeared to have minimal chemicals in them. The room had the usual amenities but was missing a hairdryer.

This is the second time my partner and I have stayed this year. We love the hotel and the location. Few things were different this time around, first time we stayed back in February we didn’t pay for parking nor the Spa however this time we paid £15 for parking and £10 each for the use of the spa. We were told this upon check in. We had a lovely stay, our room was clean, tidy and spacious. Staff were friendly and approachable. The spa was beautiful with two hot tubs outside, steam room and sauna as well as a lovely quiet relaxation room. We were told on check out if we booked the hotel directly and not through a 3rd party the spa would be free so we have noted that for next time. (We are thinking of going back next month!)All in all a great stay. Thank you!

Harbour Hotel is seriously fancy! The rooms, halls, restaurant, and bar are all top-notch. It’s very close to Richmond Park, great for scenic strolls, and even dogs friendly. Just be aware, parking spots are kinda scarce. Located 15-20mins walk from Richmond center with all the shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, and public transportation.
