As always the staff are so much help here. Excellent for advise and support. A lovely team and a great selection of bits and animals. Also good to support a family run business that cares about their customers and their pets and not a corporate giant who are only in it for profit

Great range of so many different animals. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very reasonable prices. Fantastic range of food even for exotic pets. Really like this place!

Been going to southern aquatics for the past few months and over this time have watched the store deteriorate due to the attitude of staff towards customers who are willing to spend money. The prices are exceptional as opposed to their competitors but I’m afraid if it wasn’t for this I would not be returning. There are a few exceptions to staff, unfortunately I do not know their names, it seems to be the younger they are the more respectful and helpful they are. However I can strongly say the majority of the staff are rather rude.But you should definitely visit the dog house cafe as this is exceptional and one of the best coffee’s you’ll ever have!

Absolutely fantastic service. I went here today to look for a first pet for my daughters. The young man I spoke to was so helpful and kind. He was extremely knowledgeable and I can't express how happy I am with the service he provided. We came home with 4 stick insects and a really cool habitat for them. I didn't catch the man's name but if he reads this, thank you so much!

Love this shop!My son wanted a Gecko for his birthday so we popped in to take a look. Service from staff was excellent and very knowledgeable.Ended up with a new Leopard Gecko and accessories, which were all very reasonably priced. Will be coming back for all my reptile needs.

This is the second time that I have bought tetras from this place and all of them have died and have killed my other tetras, I’m very disappointed. They must of been diseased to kill my other fish and everything died the next day of having them, it was not a great sight to see.

It's an amazing shop with plenty of opportunities to hold the animals, but some workers don't care about the animals safety. I witnessed a worker throw two hamsters and drop one on the floor for no apparent reason..I'm concerned for the animals and hope they are okay. P.S I've had many gerbils and all the ones I have got from there in the past weren't handled, scared of humans(before I trained them/cared for them) and we're biters. Last time I went which was abt three weeks ago, there were about 10 ten fish in each tank and the workers didn't care, weather they had a disease or if it was the filter change there should be so many dead fish.

Love this shop, has everything you can think of and have some very healthy snakes from there.

Staff are great. We had a problem with an old mermaid water statue and they found time to sort out all the equipment that we would need to get her going again with the pump and even put everything together for us. Great customer care and a credit to the company.
