it is crowded, the exhibition in the white tower (middle building) was a little bit boring

Lovely place. The tour guide was also super jovial and had a lot of funny and interesting stories to tell. Although I was not happy that we were not allowed to take pictures of the crown jewels. Still, it was an enjoyable moment.

We used the London Pass and got in quickly to the Tower of London. There is a long line to see the jewels but they are worth the wait and it moves very quickly. There are no pictures inside but the place is rich with history and has many unique artifacts. At one point there is a conveyer belt so everyone gets an up close view.

Great historical site, lots of interesting facts and the audio tour was good, worth paying the extra. There are lots of steps and some small tight spaces to get through, so if you have any mobility limitations it's not easy to navigate. ( but being built over the centuries it was expected.) lots to see, the best part for us was visiting the crown jewels which were amazing!Definitely worth the visit just for those. The only downside was the Man on the gate entrance bellowing at people to put their umbrellas down as they got to him. It was pouring with rain and with no signage stating that you needed to enter through the outsude gates like that, we found him extremely rude and aggressive to the visitors. I actually asked him not to shout at a lady who clearly didn't understand English.. You might expect that, some people won't speak English at such an iconic tourist destination. He was so agressive it upset people, including my friend who suffers with anxiety. That really should be addressed it is not good customer service.. He lost you a star.

Amazing. Not only are the current crown jewels displayed, but historical ones as well and other regalia.Very busy, especially as it was the end of half term.No photos, videos, phone calls or food and drink are allowed. To see them up close you need to ride on a slow travellator, a flat escalator. They can be seen from a walkway above as well.Staff can and will remove people who don't follow the rules

Long queue for crown jewels room. Takes about 1 and the half hour before you can enter the room. Too crowded and a bit hard to see the displays. One of the Yoeman warders is a bit grumpy when I asked him if I can take a photo with him. He said, MAKE IT FASTER!It's a bit rude I thought.Overall all okay.

The Crown Jewels
Overrated. A “must see once” type of activity. Long line. Pricey for what you see, a couple of crowns. People are made to stand on a conveyer belt to move the crowds along. In total, spent over an hour waiting in the cold to see the main exhibit for 5 minutes. Bonus museums about. Food offerings mediocre. Staff professional and attentive. Well stocked gift shop.

The Crown Jewels were my favorite part of the Tower of London. There is a long queue, but once you get inside the building, you are free to wander to the various exhibits. The retired crowns have their jewels removed. No pictures allowed inside the building. I liked the people movers, like the airport. Very efficient.
