Its very rare these days you come across someone with exceptional customer services skills, whereby the customer needs & customer experience are at the heart of the employee / company. However I came across one such a person & company during my search for a storage for my household belonging while moving house. Sandra Wood at Parkgate Self Storage Hetton-Le-Hole Houghton-Le-Spring, went over and above to accommodate my needs, with regular updates on availability, excellent knowledge in explaining the self storage process & supporting me in estimations of size of container needed for my belongings. An extremely personable, friendly & experienced employee who I could communicate to easily & knew I could trust. Sandra even replied to my queries when the office was listed as closed, which actually took me by surprise when her email came through - now that is exceeding customer expectations & in my eyes true Service Excellence! If Sandra could bottle what she has & sell it, she would literally be a multi-millionaire! Sandra was an absolute superstar from first enquiring to the end. We had a lot of stuff to move which required late access. Sandra was always on hand to extend entry times for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Her knowledge of self storage made choosing Parkgate an easy decision. She kept us up to date on opening times and any changes. She was very informative and showed us round when we first enquired and made the process so simple. The storage rooms were a good size and clean. The building was secure and ideally located. Good amount of parking on site and a lift which came in extremely handy. Would highly recommend Parkgate to anyone and what a person to have as a face for your company with Sandra!

Parkgate and Sandra were brilliant from first enquiry to departure. Premises were clean, well ordered and easy to access. The price was great and the convenience of being able to access the storage unit was well worth it over some of the other student holiday storage options in Durham.

Stored our daughter’s belongings here during the summer holidays. Very close to Durham. Great facility, very clean and secure with modern storage units. On site parking. The lift to the first floor helped us greatly. Staff were very friendly. Would use this facility again for our storage needs. Would highly recommend.
