Just had a hog roast for a combined birthday party of 20 people. The pork was exquisite, bread rolls were soft, apple sauce and stuffing excellent. Will definitely do this again! Thanks Dave!

I went in today 29/06/23 and asked for steak or pure beef, no fat and asked if they could mince it for me. The guy said they had offcuts already minced. I repeated that I just wanted pure beef or steak and asked if that can be minced. The guy went out the back and said ‘she’s a twat’. It’s a horrible experience to go somewhere to get called names, simply for asking for something specific. I wasn’t even shopping for myself but for someone who needed it. Disappointing.

Some of the best quality meats and produce for miles around. We stopped buying the sub-standard supermarket meats over a year ago and haven't looked back.Really friendly and helpful people running the place too.

Fantastic local butchers, in addition to the odd steak and hog roast bap, we order 50 burgers from here once a year for my partners birthday BBQ.They always go down a treat and everyone comments on how good they are.My dad (the BBQ chef) wouldn’t cook anything else, they don’t shrink and are full of tasty beef!The chaps are also really friendly and helpful....couldn’t recommend more highly!
