Asda Hazel Grove Supermarket

Your 'fresh' pastries are anything but fresh. I'm not sure what has happened over the last few months, but they are definitely yesterday's pastries. I have been calling in on my way to work each day to buy them for my boss and myself. This week we decided we won't be buying them again. Full price for a stale pastry. Yuk, no thanks!

New to the area and have had nothing but positive experiences with this store, I’ve never had a “local” store before but the staff couldn’t do more for you. Have a few mobility issues and there never any question if I need extra help with my stick or packing it’s there.

I am absolutely livid with this store. My family have just been evicted (landlord selling the house) we have had a gruelling month of packing and moving. Two of our children have disabilities, we are carers and life is incredibly difficult without house moves and Christmas on top. We have no heating, no hot water, I’ve got pneumonia from this whole ordeal. It has been the worst situation of our lives. All we wanted was a nice Christmas, the children have not had one at all. We have worked so hard to get the house sorted in 2 days ready for Christmas Day. The reason I have told you all this is to make you understand how badly we needed a nice Christmas after the awful, terrible month we have had. Wake up this morning and go to prep dinner with the £30 turkey I bought from you .. open it and it is absolutely RANCID. I have nothing to feed our guests - 10 people you have left without food. It had a sell by date of the 27th but it has not been stored properly. The smell is still lingering in my kitchen. You have completely ruined Christmas Day. I will never spend any money in that store again and I urge other customers to think twice over trusting this store to provide safe, fresh food on such a special day. Don’t let this store ruin your Christmas like it has ours!

Poor staff experience. Came for second time to buy some items and to return some. Buying is OK but they have a whole lot of problems with returning. I have been asked questions in a very rude and suspicious way as to why I'm returning clothes despite the fact they are well aware that asda store do not have functional fitting rooms. Highly dissatisfied and would not return to this particular branch of asda.

Really disappointed, even staff couldn’t help me out, i bought some veg stuff from here but the price was coming different, while price tag was showing less than that, i spoke one of your team member, why your system showing huge difference between the price and it wasn’t a single item, difference came with three items, but your team member couldn’t figure it out. I don’t understand why you guys put wrong price tag. This is the third time I faced this issue.

An unreliable Asda that doesn’t have everything that I need, and can be overly busy for such a small place… makes me prefer other stores much more but it is what it is. It can be fine for light incidental shopping however

Not the biggest branch of ASDA so not all lines stocked. New layout inside makes aisles narrow and cramped

I'm not sure what is going on with this Asda. It's been months. They say the machine is broken and customers cannot top up their electric key.Needs improvement here especially when people need electric for their home.If I check again. Same answer.The store manager needs to sort this.

I am a regular customer at Asda and would like to share my experience at Asda today. A staff member named Karl was busy with his work. In the midst of it, he kindly asked a senior customer and myself, if we needed any help, as both of us were looking for particular ice-creams.He then searched the shelves for the products we were looking for and even checked if they were the flavours we were looking for.His kind actions were much appreciated.Asda in Hazelgrove has hard working staff members because it's always busy, but Karl was exceptional.Thank youKind regards
