Beautiful food, building and atmosphere. Served by friendly staff. The food was quality (had the steak and ale pie with veg & crumble), piping hot and delicious. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Had lunch here on Good Friday. Wow, what a lovely place. We had booked a table online and on arrival we were shown straight to our table. Within a few minutes, a very friendly young lady took our drinks order and shortly after our lunch order, but only after she had asked us about any allergies or intolerance. The food arrived after about 15 minutes. It was piping hot and delicious. I had Ox liver and my husband the scampi. We also had desserts. My husband asked if he could have a small portion of lemon sorbet, which he got at a cheaper price. We will definitely go here again. Not a cheap lunch, but it was well worth it.

Amazing service and equally as fantastic food. We were seated by a staff member with a smile and they were fantastic with children. Really enjoyable visit! Food was delicious! Will definitely make this a regular visit!

Had been looking forward to dining here tonight after viewing the online menu.Arrived to a cold restaurant. Luckily got served straight away, but staff didn't seem interested and there knowledge of the menu was poor. Food was ok, but sauce was cold and lacked finesse. Dessert menu only had three choices. This is a good place for lunch but not for a Saturday night.

I stopped here for breakfast whilst out on a cycle ride this morning. I received a friendly good morning" from Molly almost as soon as I entered the building. I was taken to a table by Lacey after I'd ordered a pot of tea at the bar and said I'd like a breakfast. My tea arrived quickly (along with a glass of ice water

I've visited twice and decided to review. Firstly, We asked for a large diet coke, what we got was a regular size coke with half a glass of ice. Perhaps ask if the customer want ice. Drinks are cold enough to conform to the brands specifications, there is no need for ice!The breakfast menu needs changing;Visited for breakfast with family, There is essential two main options for a cooked breakfast. The difference between the standard and the big breakfast is miles apart. The standard has the basics, but if you want beans, tomato or even black pudding you'll have no other option but the big breakfast; here you'll get everything as well as an extra sausage and bacon. This is too much! Perhaps allow customers to have the full English without the three bacon, three sausages and two eggs. Charge this between the two other options. On the menu cold drinks are available for the fridge cabinet!Service wasn't good;Left for so long after finishing eating that boredom set in and we stacked the plates. You could say that the adjoining room is now classed as the forgotten room. I would suggest having a base station for the staff to take and submit orders and collect orders and give ownership of the area and keep it up to spec. (cean and tidy) Use the adjoining room as the primary area to place customers so you don't forget them. We didn't see anyone from the point of staff doing their follow up check.Overall; venue great, food quality is good, the service is poor and management need to be around to ask how was the service with a view to improve the service especially for a new restaurant. At the moment the service is much like any fast food establishment; get the order in, provide the order (wrong drink) and on to the next one! This is the second visit, the first was much the same.I'd hate to visit for an evening meal, I think the service is much like the candle on the table; takes a long time to burn and when it's burnt out its forgotten.Cleaning products left on the table. It was the last time we saw a staff member, perhaps they used the wrong cleaning product; VanishUnused cutlery left on the tables even when people has used the table. What is stopping a child placing Cutlery in its mouth and putting it back!?It wasn't particularly busy, the adjoining room as empty by the time we left and 3 tables in the main bar area. Staff nowhere to be seen.Happy to visit again sometime in the future, hopefully they might have improved by then.Rated 2 stars, just because when you're spending £15 per person which is the higher rate for a breakfast, you expect the experience to be good.

I cannot thank Brother’s in Arms enough for the wonderful evening we had with you this evening. You were fantastic. Everything from the help in organising our evening, thank you to the lovely Keira - there were just under 100 of us!, to the food which was so good. Big thanks to the chefs. The service was amazing. Everyone had hot food - no mean feat! The smiling brilliant ladies who served us. Seriously it couldn’t have been better. Thank you, thank you ❤️

The feel of this place is superb. Warm, welcoming with a really happy vibe. The service was spectacular, the servers happy and welcoming. And the food .. oh the food! Served quickly, piping hot and absolutely divine. Flavoursome, and absolutely one of the finest meals we've had. All that rolled I to a very reasonable price too.A real jewel in the crown of our County.
