Reopened a week ago under new ownership. Lovely warm welcome. Very busy as they have a massive beer garden. All staff working so hard. A big shout out to Archie - lovely hard working attentive young man.

Had a fantastic brunch here Highly Recommended!! The staff were welcoming and happy to help despite a very busy and chaotic service, they made you feel nothing was too much trouble. Although ridiculously busy all the staff were more than happy to accommodate our endless drink requests. The food was to a high standard, I would be happy bring my boss, my mum, or my friends here. I sound like I'm gushing but I really enjoyed my brunch here. Prices were in line with what I would expect. I'd like to thank Melissa, Freya and Tara in particular. Check my photos for the menu. Came this weekend for the new opening of the very new and improved Rose and Crown, it was fantastic. The decor was lovely, food and drink all reasonably priced and has a lovely big beer garden and dog friendly, this will be our new watering hole to visit!

Finally!!! We have a decent pub back. That Rose was awful!!!!!The new Rose and Crown is fantastic!! Spencer and James are so very friendly and clearly have a great vision for the pub.Food was amazing, as was the very friendly service. Welcome back The Rose and Crown. I'll be back...very often!!!!

Sunday roast was excellent, very good value. Service was very good.Atmosphere was spoilt by parents letting their small children, run around the other diners, and not taking any notice.

Had a lovely meal with friends on there first Saturday night. Very busy great food and great value. So nice to see a village pub back to it former glory. Will definitely be back

We were here following a friend's passing for a wake.the staff were attentive and polite. They laid on a lovely spread of food which was enough for the number attending. The building is great with its low beams but watch your head if you are over 6ft.
