Attended the signing of Jay Kristoff. The staff were lovely and very helpful and knew how to hype the attendees

Really nice bookstore and has a very calming atmosphere inside, books are nicely organised and everything is clearly labelled. You can spend up to 30 minutes looking for a book for the train journey. There are also lots of little accessories like moleskin notes pads, pens and even boards games. You can also get a free bookmark with a purchase of a book and there is a loyalty system in places so if you travelling on trains a lot then grab a loyalty card and gather some points!

It's a nice enough shop - basically a small fancy Waterstones, but they have a tendency to try to charge you more than the price on the cover for books if you don't notice. 'Tourist Prices' you could call it. I wonder how much they make in a year this way. It's clearly done deliberately within their system, as all the sales staff do is scan the barcodes. When questioned they will charge you the right amount, but it's fundamentally dishonest

Why don't they have a bookshop like this in Toronto's Union Station???Though it's not as large as the flagship Hatchard's in Piccadilly, this bookshop is extremely nice considering that it's a small outlet shop inside a train station. It's about the same size (maybe slightly smaller) as an average suburban Chapters/Indigo store in Canada. The UK knows how to do bookshops well.

Spectacular storefront in the St. Pancras shopping center. Bright, smartly laid out shelves with a strong selection of books. But what really stood out during my visit was the passion of the booksellers.I watched a pair of employees make a dozen recommendations to two young kids...gushing over plots, checking appropriateness, making comparisons. They engaged these young readers as peers, equals and confidants. There was conspiracy, mischief and respect that went so far above and beyond what could have been a dull retail experience. They knew their books, these two, both old and new...and had such a genuine love for their work. The kids walked away with new books and a gleam in their eyes. The shop is no bookstore with employees like these...it is a portal to the imagination, and I am so glad they exist.

Excellent bookshop, a must- visit for book lovers. Books on the table displays are tastefully laid out, featuring the best and most memorable in classic English literature. Get an English classic for your train journey. Knowledgeable staff, no upselling, they let you browse at your leisure

An incredibly beautiful bookstore.Excellently curated stock, with personal recommendations and really lovely displays. Also older rare books and some ingenious choices.Quiet, peaceful airy and neat, a real oasis of calm in a busy station.Staff are on hand to help and the level of non-book is right.Possibly the best book shop in a train station in the UK (bar the 2nd hand railway carriage of books at Horsted Keynes on the Bluebell railway)It's in unit 7 - so further in the station than on the map currently. And the Francis Bacon window.Gosh.
