Evolution Bikes

I’d been struggling with a tubeless tyre setup for some time being new to the system. Contacted Evolution Colwyn Bay and the staff were kind, helpful, willing to pass on knowledge, and able to sort the problem very quickly.When I got to the shop the wheels were sorted within 20mins and whilst I waited for their technicians to sort the tubeless setup, I gained a load of useful knowledge from the staff who are obviously keen mountain bikers. Well priced serviced, very knowledgeable staff, an awesome local service!

So: heads up- if I get bad service I'm swift to take my money and custom elsewhere.What a delight then to find a store and a member of staff in Joe who was incredibly efficient in arranging demo rides for us. He spent plenty of time fully explaining the bikes to us, showing the controls and pre-empting pretty well every question or what if scenario we could imagine. It showed great experience and thorough product knowledge.He took every care to adjust the bikes for us, both in advance, and partway through the ride.On the back of the demo we decided to purchase one bike at this time. Unbelievably he then tailored the package to completely fit what we wanted- to a degree that I really would not have expected. We are totally happy in what we have ordered.He backed up promises with a later phone call to confirm that all parts of the order were in hand and would be available within the time scale promised. It felt like Rolls Royce service.

Absolutely Brilliant.A young chap called Alfie helped us and went above and beyond to help my wife choose an e bike. He set up a demo bike for her and went through everything, and she was extremely and used the demo bike with no problems. He then helped us choose the right bike for what she needed and our budget. Cannot recommend them enough and Alfie was absolutely BRILLIANT.

A really great service with friendly help over the phone. I ordered a Scott Sub Cross 30 for my wife via the website and was very happy with the service. The bike arrived 3 days early and within the couriers estimate time slot. The bike was mostly assembled so all I had to do was pop the peddles on and adjust the handlebars and the bike was ready to ride. All I needed was in the box and info sent via email. An all round great experience and my wife is over the moon with her bike.

Evolution were recommended to me for a major bike service / repair by another store I have used. Just had the work done and have to say the service from Matt in the workshop to find the parts, advising me on the solution and then the service on the day was amazing. Great knowledge, worked at getting me a great solution but keeping the costs down. What a great team. I would highly recommend them.

Guys at Colwyn Bay did an amazing job with my Cube eBike. It feels like new now after a service and replacement parts. Excellent service, brilliant comms. Can't fault them.

What a great experience and fantastic little bike shop. I bought a top end e-MTB from these guys and can honestly say that the service is second to none. The guys in the store and workshop are very knowledgeable and were happy to spend lots of their time making sure I understood the operation and issues fully and ultimately making sure I got all the right bits for my new e-MTB. Particular thanks to Joe. Would definitely recommend 5* :)
