AMS Porsche

In June 2023, I bought my first Porsche, a 997 C4S from AMS Porsche. I found Angus (Owner and Manager) to be extremely helpful and accommodating. He welcomed as many questions as I had about the car. He's clearly very knowledgeable on Porsches (sorry to state the obvious). This gave me the reassurance to purchase the car, which I've enjoyed since its delivery to me.I've just had AMS Porsche carry out a 1000 mile service after my car was sold having had an engine rebuild. This was done promptly with some other work I needed. I'll continue using AMS Porsche despite the 4 hour round trip for me, because of their professionalism and service to customers. I have to say its top notch.If you need any work on your Porsche or looking to buy one, then I would highly recommend AMS Porsche.

Great service again from Angus and his team at AMS Porsche. My 911 went in with a few age related issues and came out driving like a new Porsche. The Clutch and steering feels super lights and without the nasty noises too! I'm really happy with the service and at a reasonable price to. Will definitely recommend to others! Thank you.

It’s been positive to work with Angus. Honest, reliable business. We are happy to work with them. To present, they did an engine rebuilt for us on a Porsche 911 996 40th Anniversary. Previously the car was with another Porsche specialist who delayed working on this car for approximately 6 months. When we took the car to AMS, they began working on it within 1 week. We like the fact that AMS books the work and tells customers to bring the car in when they are ready to work on it not like other places who encourage customers to bring there cars and not work on them. We as a prestige car dealer want to work with the best and so far from our experience AMS is amongst the best.

Can’t speak highly enough of Angus and his team. He really went the extra mile and he was prepared to investigate issues and try to fix them whereas Porsche wanted to jump straight to costly replacements. Very professional and patient around dealing with my insurance company too. All the work was done perfectly and I’ll definitely be using AMS again.

I have used a previous independent Porsche specialist and was not that impressed by the service or the cost. I called AMS Porsche and spoke to Angus to get a quote to fit new ignition coils and plugs.They were considerably cheaper than the other quote I received and the service I received was impeccable.They did a health check free of charge and sent me the video with commentary highlighting a few other issues they found. There was then a follow up with still images and the problems clearly highlighted.Not once did I feel under pressure to get any of the extra work done, but I decided to get some of the bits done. The quote was very clear and no hidden extras.I am delighted I found Angus and his team and will not be using anyone else for work on my 911 turbo.Highly recommended A+++

My car feels better than ever.New disc breaks and pads all round, service, air-con fixed and AMS even cleaned the car afterwards!Wonderful dealing with Angus, incredibly happy with everything from start to finish. Would recommend to everyone.

Brilliant service from Angus and the team - highly recommend!Porsche 911 // 2008 997.1 C2I contacted AMS after a Porsche specialist closer to me was very slow to respond to emails and phone calls - the service from AMS was the total opposite - really easy to arrange a date and courtesy car by email.While the car was with them they sent photos and videos via whatsapp and advised about some extra work that needed done - everything was agreed over whatsapp so no surprises when the bill came.The team were really friendly and are obviously very knowledgeable, Angus was really helpful and answered some questions and concerns I had about my car. On the whole a great experience and I will definitely use them again.

Excellent service and competitively priced. All the reviews here are 5 star for a good reason and it’s what made me call AMS in the first place.My engine was making a horrendous noise and I called for advice. Angus was very happy to take the time to talk to me and run through the potential issues and rough costing. After calling several other well known specialists I was confident that AMS was the best place to take my car.It turned out to be exactly what Angus predicted and it was time for a full rebuild. The good advice carried on throughout the build on what was essential, what was advisable and what could wait! 1000 miles later and Angus carried out a complimentary oil change after the run in period. It’s now a year later and it’s just been in for its first service along with a few other small jobs (including an upgrade to a GT3 short shift!). I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
