The Out Barn

From the moment we visited the Out Barn as a newly engaged couple, we fell in love with it. Henry and Ruth were so welcoming and got us excited about the possibilities for our big day. The venue truly is a blank canvas for whatever a couple can imagine!The pandemic brought two changes of date for us but the team were always there to answer questions, offer advice and reassure us, despite likely being inundated with similar from other couples.Despite our reduced numbers the venue looked amazing and offered the perfect location for an intimate, fun and amazing day. The unique views and layout seamlessly connect the inside and outdoors and give guests the best of both worlds.The staff were attentive and great throughout the day, doing a fantastic job of interacting with guests with the necessary safety measures in place.The beautiful farmhouse and dairy cottage added so much to the whole weekend and are themselves an experience to enjoy.Emma was a point of contact both for ourselves and family members who arranged surprise video messages to be shown during the day. She really put us at ease in the run up and had everything in place exactly as we requested and thought of things even we hadn't. On the day, Emma ensured everything ran perfectly and was even on hand to help remove my veil and fix my hair - we absolutely couldn't have asked for more from a wedding venue team.We truly had the best day ever and the venue will always hold a place in our hearts. The out barn was simply amazing. I loved the flexibility and wide choices of options you got here, which is unlike most venues. The staff are amazing - we cant thank them enough for everything they have done to make our day so special. They were so accommodating and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. We also got to use the dressing room which is simply stunning! As well as staying at the beautiful honeymoon suite. The venue is absolutely amazing.Our photographer Emma Bilsborough captured the day beautiful, and despite it raining all day, they venue is big enough and beautiful enough for it to have barely made a difference!Our entertainment Arthur Geldard and Jonny Ross (Laurence/ Tom) coordinated with the venue so well, and were both incredible.The whole day was amazing, Our wedding coordinator Emma was so fantastic, and all the other staff at the out barn were simply fantastic. We cant thank them enough for our amazing day.

Brilliant time yesterday here for my friends wedding. Stunning venu and great service. The sunshine made it even better, but what a location. Drinks are expensive, but its a wedding venue so thats what to expect. The place is in the middle of no where surrounded with beautiful views. Lovely stunning place, thankyou

Went to a wedding here in November. Fantastic views and a great venue. A good size but not too big so felt intimate. Fantastic range of beers on tap and great views all round the venue to enjoy them with.

Wow, what an amazing wedding venue. As a wedding photographer I frequent lots of wedding venues and this one ranks right at the top.So much for every couple.- The farmhouse or cottage that's available for the night before or the night of the wedding.- The dressing room (new). This is a new building with it's own garden. It's fantastically roomy and full of light and easily accessible.- The Out Barn building is amazing for weddings. The room is really light, even when it's dull outside. Couples face the window during the ceremony so have lots of light on them.- The outdoors are full of areas to go to. You have a background with Pendle Hill. There is the small brook with a packhorse bridge over it which can be used for so much. You have the driveway down from the car park which is usually decorated in lights (I am sure you pay extra for these, but they're well worth it). All the fields and buildings are amazing for backdrops. I've shot 5 or so weddings here now and apart from the bridge over the stream I don't think I've used an area that's the same.I could go on, and on, lol........ don't forget the watering hole....... the amazing range of drinks available at the bar, or the simply fantastic staff.Jess who looks after you on the wedding day is simply superb. Nothing ever too much trouble and always has a smile on her face. Amazing lady.I'll stop now :-)

Recently attended a family wedding here, gorgeous setting, beautiful views, huge covered outdoor seating area, loads of parking space, full bar. The main venue room is used for the whole day & gets reset for each part of the wedding.

We've had the pleasure of photographing a few weddings at The Out Barn and we absolutely adore the place!The venue is stunning and an absolute dream for photographers. With the huge windows in the main room, beautiful decor, an abundance of things to play with in and around the venue itself and AMAZING staff we absolutely LOVE shooting here!
