WOOLSHOPS SHOPPING CENTRE • CAR PARK

For someone with a mobile or email address, the sms or email address car parking receipt and ticketless system is great. However, the more elderly generation do not always have access to either of these, as noticed today at woolshops car park. The lady stated she'd previously been sent a parking fine, when she was unable to access a printed receipt for proof of parking payment. She also struggled to work the machine, needing support from us in the line behind. We often ostracise the elderly when bringing in newer systems, not considering the impact it'll have on all demographics. Just a thought on behalf of someone else. Otherwise, for myself, the new system works great.

Christmas raking only one barrier working plus it took me at least 6 attempts to ark on the top level as due to the rout system other cars that came after me got parked before me happens ever festival holiday needs to be addressed before there is a comment about parking underground I’ve just aid out.large sum of money to have a area on my passenger side redone due to catching the door when going down your underground area as this is my fault there’s no way o am taking underground

Both pay machines are broken and don’t accept payment so it’s very stressful as you’ve no way to pay for parking, so you’d have to try and get your inevitable fine cancelled.Take plenty of photos and videos of you trying to pay.Neither machine would accept my card, my phone or my friend cards to pay. Both broken.There is an option to insert coins on one of the machines but who carries £9 in change???I ended up managing to pay via the app thank god, otherwise I’d be sat here stressing out waiting for my fine to show up.

Have emailed the owners but no acknowledgment or replyWe had an unfortunate experience on our first time in this car park being refused exit and having to reverse out through traffic to buy another ticket..

Just got home from seeing the cult at the piece hall In Halifax this car park is less than a minutes walk to the hall so very handy . The most you will pay is £9 for 24 hours which for me is good value , yes I would possibly parked up a side street for free but prefer a lite car park the spaces are wider than most and you can pay by cash card or app and can even have a receipt emailed or text to you. I did go to visit the venue in the early afternoon and was very busy but when I returned around 4.30 it was surprisingly quiet. All in all a great experience as far as car parking goes but remember to pay as your registration number is recorded on entry and exit and no tickets are issued

Both pay stands were broken today. There was a massive queue and the poor guy working at Woolshops told us all to just leave and promised us we wouldn't get a ticket. I made a video of this as I have read so many awful reviews on Facebook of people getting unfair fines.I would like reassurance on here I won't be receiving one too.

Evening visit to Halifax town centre and decided to use this car park. Plenty of space given the time. Number plate recognition system needs nothing from the user other than the knowledge of their own registration number. Payment easy (used a bank card at the pay station). A good experience.

Wanted to go to m and s and be able to park somewhere fairly close as my wife has mobility issues. I was unable to park in any of the disabled spaces as they we're all taken. This would not cause myself an issue but as around a third of the vehicle's had no disabled badges and no one from the parking company actually appears to care about these waste of space people who are lazy and ignorant and ticket their vehicles I will shop elsewhere.
