Called asking for hospital referral for wisdom tooth extraction (recommended in previous examination). Told I'd need to speak to my dentist Simona again as it's been too long since previous examination. Fine.The Simona glanced at my tooth and explains I'll need a different type of x-ray than the previous one if I want a hospital referral. It was 2:33 when I left her room, my appointment was for 2:30 (props for being on time at least).I get the bill and it's £89, £49 of which just for her time! This doesn't feel right. All I wanted was a hospital referral, and I even filled the form in myself. The reception staff seemed genuinely upset and attempted to correct matters, but ultimately could not.Choose this dentist if you want somewhere that prioritises emptying your wallet and getting you out of the door asap.UPDATE: The hospital said the x-ray I paid for was of too poor quality and sent me for another anyway. I have been offered a refund for the x-ray, but not for the few minutes I spent with the dentist which has been billed as a full checkup. Any interaction with a dentist is fully billed upon entering their room regardless of duration.In hindsight I should have approached the NHS directly as it would have saved me time and money.

Mariela is absolutely amazing she has given me my smile back! All the staff are always helpful and happy.

I have been with my dentist at South Lawn Terrace for many years now and they have always been absolutely fantastic! The reception staff are very welcoming, friendly and efficient and always go out of their way to make appointments that fit your schedule. My dentist Nerea and hygienist Pauline are excellent - extremely skilful, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, as are the dental nurses. Thank you very much for being such a great practice!

Had to write this review because my new dentist Dr Anna Turek-Skorska is totally amazing, she is considerate and caring and an excellent dentist.. like a breath of fresh air for the Heavitree practice.. looking forward to my next visit !!!

Just got back from seeing Nerea and the team at My Dentist and felt that I had to comment on their absolutely outstanding service. All of the staff, from the excellent reception team through to the dental nurses, hygienists and Nerea my dentist are highly professional, efficient and courteous.I'm not basing this review on one visit either, I've been a patient for years and their service has never wavered. Thank you !

I’ve been registered with the surgery for 6.5 years with Nerea as my dentist. I can’t recommend her highly enough! She put me at ease from the first session, and I always used to say that I’m terrified of dentists and have a bad gag reflex, it turns out that I don’t, I just hadn’t found the right dentist!From fillings to teeth cleaning to night guards, to reviewing my children and explaining to them their teeth/how to improve their brushing skills… I highly recommend mydentist and Nerea. The reception staff and nurses are super lovely as well.

Went in for an issue on another tooth but dentist had a good poke at my veneers. Couple days later one of my veneers has fallen off...

My dentist and assistant were so lovely. I had a massive fear of going to the dentist after I had to have a lot of work done. However they made me feel so comfortable and it is safe to say my fear is now gone. Can’t thank the staff enough!!!

Dr Anna Turek , the best dentist In my opinion since attending this practice.I am so grateful , I feel like a respected person not just a statistic that gets pushed through the treatment asap.I am sooo thankful
