Horrifically complex rules on signs quite hard to understand when entering in dark and rain as I did. Got out of the car in and then saw it was short term. Drove to the other side stopped and then realised it was permit only. I think these were the East and West section. Horrible experience and I just hope we got out in time (under 20 mins) that we don’t get some parking ticket. We found a more sensible car park by chance. Swindon centre is an awful place to drive a car, with super-fussy systems and bus lanes.

The reason I loved this place was that it allowed me to park my car before taking a train journey. If it wasn't there I'd have needed to walk further to catch my train which could of made me late, makes you think doesn't it. Car parks, brilliant.

It's a train station. Decent coffee on platform cafe. Costa just to the left of the main entrance. Access from the carparks to the rear is not good as there are 2 flights of stairs. However, if you follow the signs for the lift there is a lift to the platform level and the lower access levels.

Too expensive (compared to other stations around it) and I've never seen it patrolled. Steep narrow steps don't help the rating.

Make sure you keep evidence of your payment for your parking.... I paid for my parking correctly and the right amount and have received a fine!!! Cheeky sods! I am. Appealing as I have the evidence on my bank statement...

Horrendous voice menus that remember your phone number so if you are not a regular at a particular station you get 'do you want to park car xx (I sold it 5 years ago / its my other car / its my mum's car) using the debit car xxx (Expired 2 years ago etc) - I avoid them like the plague and park elsewhere or, if desperate, use cash. Last time I looked, no option to pay in advance either.

Very bad experience.The signage and information needs to be improved. All was very confusing.We used it on a Saturday and there was no way to access to the platforms as the path was closed.We had to walk on foot to the train station and it took us much longer and almost missed the train.thankfully it was late!Also it only can be paid using the Apcoa app. There is no machine to pay in cash or with credit card.Not very convenient for old peopleAlmost missed the train!!!

Main car park for Swindon Railway Station. Lots of spaces available, although will get full at peak times. The entrance road is just before the Station on the one way road. The entrance & exit for the car park are rather tight & cozy to negotiate. Payment by car or the Apcoa app. Walk down the small steps by the Station to access the Station.

One machine had a letter vital to my registration not working. The other had a broken card reader. Chap in front of me inserted cash and didn't get a ticket. I had to pay by phone, which can only be done with a complex voice menu not a fast app.You don't have much choice, but when you arrive and have a train to catch you need parking to be quick and painless. First thing in the morning and I ended up having no time to grab a drink for my two hour trip.
