The Elms Dental Practice

Today, I once again visited the dentist and .y teeth were looked at very briefly. Last time, the dentist expressed his belief that I would need one or more extractions, so I thought he would be doing one today. But no, the next appointment for my extraction is 22nd January 2024. It will cost me £70.70 (NHS price!!). After that, I have to walk around for 3 months with a 2-teeth wide gap, which will be embarrassing. Then, I will have to pay about £350 for a new denture plate. This is the NHS, that I have paid into, all my working life.It is getting to be as bad as the USA model of healthcare. It seems to be all about money.My experience that I would like to praise is that the dentist was very polite, and I did not have to wait a long time in the Waiting Room.

Have been going to this dentist for a very long time now & no complaints. Everything is very efficient so we never feel like we have to wait long to be seen & they don't keep you hanging around for ages. As teachers reception staff are always very flexible & accommodating making sure we can get appointments at half-term.The dentist we see, Dr Faisal Agha is very thorough & also explains everything he does before he does it putting everyone's mind at rest. The most important thing though, in my opinion is how brilliant everyone is with the children. We are able to go in as a family & so they watch mummy & daddy & know there is nothing to be scared of. Dr Agha is incredibly understanding & gentle with them, he speaks very softly but clearly & is very patient. Would thoroughly recommend this dental practice.

I was treated with courtesy during my check up and given sound advice regarding keeping my teeth and gums healthy during chemotherapy. The dentist was gentle but thorough during my appointment & explained carefully and clearly. A professional experience from start to finish. Thank you.

A 5 star dental practise with 5 star dentists. In my 67 years I have never had such a good dentist as Retto , she is very kind and understanding and really cares about her patients .Someone I would thoroughly recommend to anyone nervous about going to the dentist. I have no fear now about any treatment I may have to have in the future.

Unusually, reception staff were rather low in number. I think they were perhaps in a staff meeting about customer service!.Felt very comfortable with my dentist and her assistant, as always.Disappointed to find that after nearly fifty years with The Elms, l am now having to go onto a private dental plan.I will still go there in future.

I have been coming to the Elms for over 45 years and have always been extremely happy with the service. Now that it is going private I will look for a practice nearer home. Such a shame. The staff are excellent.

Usual dentist had to cancel but another dentist was able to see me same day. I had been in pain with tooth for 5 days & she dealt with it straight away. Pricing not too bad either. Great service.

The entire surgery is going private and offering a monthly subscription to a dentist. The world has gone subscription mad!In the past they have cancelled several appointments, made 6 months in advance due to holiday or people leaving.

The dentist was fine; which was more than could be said about the young receptionists. The girl who booked us in was so miserable and grumpy. Whatever happened to the old receptionists, they were much more professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Best dental practice in Northampton. Positive Disabled friendly with disabled access and disabled car parking for wheelchair users at front entrance and car park for clients only otherwise parking charges. Friendly and professional staff. Time efficient for appointments. Spotlessly clean toilet.
