Skipton Boat Trips

100% enjoyed this. If we lived nearer I'd be trying the Sunday lunch and also the fish and chips. We had the afternoon tea cruise and it was perfect. The sun shone all day, the scenery was just lovely.Staff very good and food lovely.Recommend it.

We had a fab, relaxing afternoon, enjoying our first Christmas Dinner of the year.The staff were very attentive and friendly throughout the cruiseThe whole experience was well thought out and fulfilled our expectations.Would totally recommend the Christmas Dinner Cruise to anyone looking for something different and relaxing, within the scenic surroundings of the Leeds, Liverpool canal!

The afternoon tea cruises on the canal are so popular that high season bookings quickly fill up. Our booking was late in the season but meant that the cabin had Christmas decorations. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the cream tea was excellent. Alcohol can be purchased on board and is reasonably priced. A very relaxing, enjoyable afternoon.

I was given a Virgin Experience voucher and chose tea for two with Skipton Boat trips. Booking was easy, although I had to book several months ahead as the trips were booked solid over the summer. It was easy to park - outside the office if you are lucky, or use the long stay car park. The office was easy to find and boarding the Dalesman canal boat efficient. The boat was full (tables of four but only laid out for two so you don't have to share). The afternoon tea was great (mixed sandwiches, scone, jam and clotted cream, ginger cake and other petit four type cakes) plus a hot beverage or soft drink. Other drinks available to purchase. The two hour trip was smooth and scenic and the whole trip was lively with great customer service. We enjoyed ourselves so much that I forgot to take photographs (the scone on the plate was the one I couldn't manage on the boat, so I had it for supper!) Highly recommended.

After making my own mistake in dates I'd booked the staff were so pleasant and helpful and made every effort to rebook my trip. Which they did and I was able to enjoy our afternoon tea on date we wanted.The canal boat trip was excellent with great service and friendliness and care. It was one of the most relaxing afternoons I've had in many a year.I could not recommend highly enough a trip with Skipton Boat trips, and am looking to book again when I'm in Skipton again. Probably the Sunday dinner experience.Thanks so much to all involved in making our day one to remember.

We did the Afternoon tea trip with Skipton Boat Trips. It was very well organised. We received all the relevant information via email, with a reminder the day before. The food was lovely, staff were great, very friendly, and welcoming. We really enjoyed a couple of hours taking in the views at a leisurely pace. I would thoroughly recommend Skipton Boat Trips and look forward to booking again in the future.

Had a lovely trip with afternoon tea, to celebrate my birthday, food was delicious. Staff were very good and saw to our needs very well. The weather was fantastic for the time of year, so we were very lucky. The scenery was beautiful enhanced by the winter sun. The only minor issue was it was not overly warm on the boat, we had to keep our coats on, it was a very cold day though. The ginger cake was so delicious I went to the bakery where it was sourced and bought some. Would recommend

Was given this as a gift … Afternoon Tea with Prosecco….had a fabulous day. The staff are extremely friendly..The food was delicious. The scenery is beautiful…. and the wild life were lovely to watch..It was such a chilled experience to sit .. eat, drink and chat. Would highly recommend. X( just one note to say the space between the seats and table are a bit of a squeeze for the large person )
