Easy enough to get in and out with the car since the access to McDonald's had been improved. Really poor mobile phone signal - a mast could be installed on the roofs of each building for each mobile provider, which would provide a rent based revenue stream. Churches in a lot of pit villages do it, so why can't places like the Arnison centre do it?

Again, doesn't cover all bases, some things are restricted, and it's quite spread out. Parking can be difficult during busy periods. It's mostly wheelchair friendly and does have a few diverse businesses that you wouldn't expect

It's hard to comment on the arnison without mentioning the individual buildings, generally speaking parking can be a nightmare and the lines of traffic getting in and out can be horrific. From what I can tell McDonald's drive through is the culprit for the build up. Years ago there was a road you could take around the back of the buildings which is no longer allowed, definitely think this should be re-thought as it would take a load of pressure off the surrounding access points.Good things I would say it's tidy, no litter, the trolleys get taken care of quickly most of the time, staff have always been professional.

Standard ugly 60s/70s car-dominated retail park. On foot there is only one safe route to the centre, which due to involving an underpass some might want to avoid after dark. The rest of the roads to it you'll have to run when crossing if you don't want to be run over. Cycling provision is non existant, although this is par for the course in Durham. On the plus side, bus connections are good, and the large Next and M&S are very nice.

Good retail park for this area. They have been proactive in reducing queues related to McDonald's which happens to be right next to the fuel station at the exit of the park. One star dropped mainly due to the parking time limit which may result in a fine. This was not helpful when testing a bicycle at Halfords, although we eventually managed to resolve this issue after some stress and worry!

The ONLY downfall with this place it's no cover when it rains and it puts lots of people off. .... IF every shop put a canopy outside and attached to each others people would be able to walk around and not get wet.. a nice place in the sunshine but a no no in the rain poor design....6/10

Went here to find out they don't have any bars here, turns out this is where you get clothes in Durham along with Dragons ville and not a place to drink.5 stars ever a pub gets built here, seems this is what Durham has become now

I visited here whilst working away and impressed with the good range of well stocked stores compared to the ones at home. The best New Look store I’ve ever been in. Lots of free parking too.

Very strong 4 star!! Very clean facilities with well spaced plots. Lovely walks in woods and to a picnic field that was massive! Would definitely recommend
