Steel Henge
One of those little gems that more people ought to know about. Slabs of metal (maybe cast iron) that have been placed in a circle to form a Henge. Well worth a look. Its part of the Centenary Riverside Nature Park. Limited parking but is free and is accessed by a small lane at the side of the motor dealers.

A total little gem in a small nature reserve. I wasn't sure what to expect, but thought it was enchanting in an industrial way. We saw a heron & apparently there are kingfishers along the river & possibly be aware of snakes (a couple of dog-walkers warned us of this). Do not follow Google maps, which will try & take you across the railway line.

A delightful nature reserve, covered in wild flowers (August). The nature reserve is small, but it's a nice walk. Great for spotting insects, birds, butterflies etc.Not suitable for wheelchairs or people with mobility issues. The henge is great to see. Note; there are no facilities and the area is prone to flooding at certain times of the year.

Quite a nice little nature reserve, although it is on a flood plane, so might not be the best place to visit if the Rother is running high!The henge itself is built feom some old ingots that were left from the site's previous life as a steel works, so I understand the artistic value, even if it's not the most aesthetically pleasing artistic installation I've ever seen!

A little hidden gem. Not easy to find if you don't know the area though (answer is to take the path at the side of the Citroen garage)
