I had dinner here in 2019 as one of my clients spending the night at the hotel.Food was very well presented and flavoured. The highlight was, with no doubt, the lamb. It was very tender.Kudos to the chef and the great service.

Beautiful place to stop for a glass of wine and bite to eat after a long walk round Loch rannoch. Staff are friendly and helpful, catering for vegans and vegetarians (whilst we didn't sample- we saw they were more than happy to accommodate). Would recommend.

Good food with but more expensive menu but I'd say worth it. Well presented , tasty with some creative but complimentary flavors. Service was okay, but you might have to flag then down if missing something or need some water.

We had dinner there in September 2003. The food was okay, but was nothing stunning. It is a nice clean restaurant and the waiting staff were polite and attentive. £120 for two courses each and two drinks though was overpriced, we thought.

We had dinner here 2 nights in a row (to escape the awful food we'd been subjected to at the loch rannoch hotel). It was beautiful food in a tranquil setting and service with a smile. Great wine selection too. Saved our holiday!

We were very much looking forward to a wonderful evening of fine dining. The reality couldn't have been more of a let down.The duty manager was a hot air balloon. A lot of talk, but not enough action. Taking away cutlery and napkins when still needed, 20 minute waits for a beverage or butter to accompany the bread served with the soup. And one of the waiters was so lost, that I eventually helped him to find the right table for the drink order he had on his tray.Then the food. The bread served with my soup was a store bought part baked bread roll that had not been finished off properly. My main was halibut with skin on. The first round, my dish was completly cold and the fish was underdone. After sending it back to the kitchen, the dish was at least warm. But the skin of the fish had not been seared, so it was soft and rubbery. Instead of nice and crispy. Also, the sugar snaps had not been deveined, the samphire had woody end and the cream-chive sauce had no flavour what so ever.We were already so disappointed by the evening up to that point that we left without any dessert. On the receipt the halibut was priced £2 higher than on the menu. And the 'right' price of £29,95 for a mediocre dish is way too high.

Tried to dine here, but was too busy, which is perfectly fine I hadn't booked. Staff however would not even permit a glass of wine in their large, and empty, outdoor seating area. Astoundingly poor service. Certainly won't come back

Room at back was cosy and comfortable. Shower easy to work. Slept like a log on comfy bed. Excellent breakfast in morning.
