Can't speak highly enough of Sophie and the gang, I've been riding here for a few months now, started from a novice. The lessons and coaches are superb, considerate of your needs and great fun. The horses are numerous and well kept, the yard and surroundings are gorgeous. Would recommend Cheston to all!

I've been to plenty of riding stables and Cheston has easily the best ponies and horses, expert instructors, top facilities and online booking, and a great location at the foot of Dartmoor. Seven stars!

Cheston Farm Equestrian Centre
me and my sister went on their moor canter lead by Sophie while we were on holiday in Devon and loved the experience. The yard has great facilities and the horses were all fantastic. We had a couple of canters going up the moors and for someone who spend most their time in an arena doing schooling it felt amazing and the views were incredible. Thanks so much and we will definitely be visiting again soon! :)

Cheston Farm Equestrian Centre
Complete peace of mind, with great support! I have now had my horse at Cheston for five years now on full livery. The centre provides great facilities both indoors and out, not to mention the fabulous hacking on Dartmoor. The management and staff have been very supportive especially as this is my first horse. I have also improved my riding with great instructors on site. This is a facility that is both professional and supportive and also gives your horse a fab home. I would highly recommend Cheston Farm for both livery and/or lessons.

Cheston Farm Equestrian Centre
Down in Devon on holiday and booked a lesson and moorland hack for my girlfriend's daughter. The instruction (sorry didn't get your name) was excellent. I've ridden myself and teaching was to a high and appropriate standard and very clearly and patiently delivered. Hannah was given a fit, forward going horse well matched to her ability. Despite the pouring rain she enjoyed her hack on the moors. There was a nice coffee bar where we could shelter in the warm away from the downpour and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Very highly recommend!

Best yard EVER !Starting riding here last year in October and It’s brilliant! Cheston is amazing! I love coming and seeing the horses and the people! Cheston is honestly amazing and I would recommend to anyone because the yard is brilliant! Sophie is so nice and welcoming and the instructors are brilliant and super friendly ! Lovely little place! <3 <3
