Village End Nursery Ascot

My granddaughter attended Village End and I cannot recommend them enough. The flexibility offered and value for money, alongside the approachable staff and varied educational and developmental activities, would make it very difficult to better. And most importantly, my granddaughter loved every minute of her time there. It gave her the confidence and skills she needed to make her transition to primary school very straightforward.

I take my 3 year old daughter here during school holidays, she absolutely loves it, the girls are fab, and the flexibility is amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I highly recommend Village End. The staff are amazing and friendly. My son loves going here so much that when I wake him up on nursery days, he jumps up out of bed shouts yey and gets himself dressed!The price is amazing and the flexibility is incredible. I really struggled with whether to find a nursery near where I live or where I work, and I'm so glad I chose near work! Its really affordable and can change hours to what suits really easy. There's no other nursery like it.The app is really easy to use and if you have a question it is always answered promptly.Facilities are great and have a really good outside space. Good variety of food for good price but can opt to have packed lunches.The staff are great for recording observations and I love seeing what my son gets up to on the portal.If your looking for great child care with a great price and felixibilty look no further!

The Village End, Manager Rob and the whole of the village team are family to us. My daughter was previously at another local nursery which was very much as micromanaged, with separate rooms which my daughter did not prefer. She stopped eating, so I had to find another alternative as she clearly was not happy. I was recommended the Village End by a family friend who has used the nursery previously for her son nine years ago. I went to take both of my 3 and 2 year old daughters for a taster session and they both loved it. The open area with different stations, the warm welcome and the dedication to each child was immensely supportive for my daughters further development. My husband and I are both emergency front line police officers and we couldn’t recommended this nursery more for flexibility, affordability and management. Keep up the great work Rob!

Village end are by far the best child care in Berkshire and ascot. Parent friendly, flexible, value for money. Our daughter loves going there the staff are so caring and thoughtful. The meals provided are outstanding nutritious and healthy. Top marks from us...

The kindergarten manager Rob is filled with negative energy and behaves aggressively when discussing with parents. Additionally, the safety measures at this kindergarten need improvement. I personally witnessed children frequently stumbling over doorsteps or stairs while moving from indoors to outdoors.

I want to thank Rob and his staff for giving my little girl an incredible first-time experience including my wife and me. From the moment we got to the door we had Rob's undivided attention to answer all of our questions.I have visited 6 nurseries and the customer journey from start to finish here has been at nothing the best for me and my family.Thank you Rob and his fantastic staff.

Called to ask about availability for my 2 kids, was told they have space and to go on the app and book a visit. Booked a visit, drove from London and arrived at 10am as planned.When the manager came to the door, I was made to feel like a complete weirdo, as I was male and didn’t have my kids with me (they’re both in nursery). He aggressively quizzed why I was there and he had to be reminded of our telephone call and the booking. I appreciate the need to be vigilant, but after that he didn't really change his tune. He said usually it’s the mothers that come and visit, along with the kids. Maybe it would have been a good idea to tell me this when booking…?He then went on a bumbling rant to talk about an incident locally where a child was attempted to be taken… as if to suggest I could be that person? After a few minutes he summarised with ‘actually we’re full anyway’. Didn't even entertain the idea of me rebooking a visit and bringing my family next time.After this I’m glad I was ‘turned away’. The manager still seems to think all parenting responsibility should fall with the mother. Disgusted is an understatement.

We had a very short tour. The manager Rob was rude, dismissive and aggressive. Openly shouting in front of the children for no reason. The other staff seemed embarrassed by his behaviour but unable to do anything about it. I definitely would not send my child here.

My 3 year old son loves his time at nursery! The staff are really friendly and extremely accommodating. One of my favourite features at this nursery is the flexibility. You can book extra days and tailor your hours. Highly recommended this nursery, your child will have fun and settle in quickly.
