AJ Taylor undertook a domestic solar PV installation for us. From quote to completion every communication and interaction have been professional and timely. The site team left no mess and all the controls were installed neatly and to our expectations.We have already commissioned AJ Taylor to add a Tesla Powerwall to the system to allow us to use the excess solar energy we make in the day after the sun sets.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again and already have given their details to a colleague who is looking to add solar PV.

Of all the firms I contacted, this one was the ONLY one to send out an expert in advance to check out the installation before giving a quote. All the others asked me to take and send endless photographs and asked questions to which I didn't know the answer.The installation was done quickly and neatly.Can't ask for anything more.

An absolute disaster of a company. First, they sent an electrician who did not understand the job and came with the wrong materials. He also didn't have some altogether! Luckily, I noticed he was inserting the incorrect bulbs and had him fix it, but then he left for several hours to get the dimmers we wanted, only to come back empty-handed! He said he can't complete the job and left??We contacted AJ Taylor, and explained the situation. Weeks go by and randomly, the electrician is at our door on a Friday night! No heads up, nothing. We were just leaving so we had to ask him to leave also. It was such a mess! Months were going by and the job was still not getting done!In the end, we felt so pushed around, dismissed and so unimportant that we asked to cancel the rest of the job and paid for what we had done. The company did not try to alleviate any of the difficulties we faced, nor amend the price to reflect the poor service we received. We felt like we weren't AJ Taylor's priority because it was a small job.If you have a small job, I do not recommend this company. The job is STILL not done in our home and we are looking for alternative electricians. Poor service and communication.

AJ Taylor fitted a new consumer unit in my rental flat. I was impressed by their professional work and on-time service.

Terrible experience. Paid £250 for a solar panel check, they came around for 30 minutes and I never heard from them again, no report, nothing.Complete waste of time and money.

The electricians who came were good, polite, on time and efficient but the administrative side was lapse, I recieved my invoice 5 days after it was issued via emailed to my correct email address, with 2 days left to pay I was told initially I could pay via a link that would be sent to me. Instead I had to chase invoices and rush to the bank. My email was taken incorrectly to begin with. I spent a lot of time ringing the office to ensure I had been booked in. Never got called back.

AJ Taylor have provided us with excellent service on many occasions. They are friendly, professional and efficient. The office staff are always happy to help and their response time is brilliant.

I needed to fit some new light fixtures and fix a switch that was simply isolated, it turned out to be a regrettable experience. The guy they sent me came unprepared and seemed very incompetent. He messed around with the switch for an hour and managed to link the cables of two different rooms, since then the lights in the lounge don’t work properly anymore. After wasting all that time he came out saying he needed another two hours of work to figure it out, so I just asked him to stop.I had to call them to explain the ridiculous situation and after a couple of days, they sent some guys who at least managed to fix the lights in the corridor. They weren’t impressed by the job done by their colleague too. I obviously refused to pay for the time wasted even if they tried to add it to the invoice.In response to your false statement:The lights fixtures and the LED bulbs don't have anything to do with the isolated switch which is in a different room. The lights fixtures are in the lounge and they were flickering and buzzing because the module was not dimmable. Your qualified" electrician didn't change any switch
